Nishant: "Can MI pull a heist like in 2014 and make it difficult for RCB?" Kudos on hyperlinking, Nishant
Suresh: "Spare a thought for Mayank Agarwal âŠ.. in and out of India squads at selectors' whims and fanciesâŠ.. good guy who deserves more!"
Stat from Sampath: SRH scored 115 runs during middle overs (7-16) today, the second most runs they ever managed during this phase in an IPL innings. Highest is 125 runs vs RCB in 2019 when both Bairstow and Warner scored 100s.
Vivrant Sharma: It's my first game, happy that I did well. Last 2-3 seasons before, I debuted for RR but didn't get a chance to bat. Glad I did today. Akash and I have played in domestic cricket too, it's a good match up there. He did well here too. If we get early breakthroughs, I think we can defend this.
Akash Madhwal: My confidence was high and I had practised yorkers a lot in domestic games to. I just bowl to my strengths. On this ground, chasing is good. Hopefully we'll get there.
5:24pm: SRH might be a few short but make 200. Brilliant innings from the openers - Vivrant and Mayank - who put up 140. Vivrant was attacking from the outset, Mayank was pretty selfless too. Both of them punished an errors in line or length. MI's bowlers looked ineffective for most of the innings. SRH sent in-form power-hitters up top but were they not able to kick off. Madhwal and Jordan finished off brilliantly to restrict MI to 200.
