"GTs excellent bowling unit poised to test the well organised batting strength of LKG. Prospect of a great chase ." Thanks for that set-up, Hanumall. We'll be back soon for the chase. In the meantime, the mid-time show is on for entertainment and insight.
Shubman Gill: It was hot but the start we got off to, thanks to Wriddhi bhai, meant it was important for us continue going with the momentum. It was a good wicket, got a bit difficult as it was a dry wicket and the odd ball was stopping. But with the hard ball, it was coming on nicely. (On mixing power with style and skillful shots) It's all about practicing, knowing your game, work along with your technique to adapt. (On the 100) It was in my mind but I missed out on the bouncer I hit for a single. No worries though, there are 5-6 games left and hopefully I'll get my hundred in one of them. In the end, Titans put up the fourth-highest team total of the season
5:10pm: Gill gets a pat on the back from Miller as they walk back. Brilliant innings from Saha to set up a belligerent 78-run powerplay. Gill aided him before going over the boundaries. Hardik and Miller's cameos take GT to 227 for 2 on a hot Gujarat evening. Eight bowling options used by LSG, the spinners bowled a few good overs, the quicks figured out that going slow and into the pitch worked better but that was after enduring a lot of punishment earlier on.
Charvik : "Good no 100 for Gill, as IPL2023 hundreds are only on losing sides."
Around the wicket
Kissu: "What is the highest score without scoring a 4?" Buttler vs RCB at Wankhede. Six sixes and zero fours, Sudarshanan informs
Arpit: "That taping is there on Hardik to help reduce muscle cramps" Thanks
Final over. GT on 213, Gill on 85. Yash from over the wicket to finish

Bala : "At some stage, 250 was in the cards. Does the pitch show signs of a slow down? " The slower balls are now being bowled into the pitch, which has made it trickier

Tahir: "One of the bowlers operating is fast medium and the other is medium fast. Whats the difference between these two type?" Pace range in the 130kph range is in fast-medium range, medium fast is generally slower
Chandra: "Any thing less than 240 from here would be injustices to the brilliant opening stand"
Around to the LHB and over the wicket to the RHB unless specified

PV: "Absolutely agree with Phani !! Pitches that have something in them for bowlers (thereby truly challenging batters) any day compared to bowler-redux tar roads of pitches."
Afrath: "Miller should come now" He has
