11.25pm Royals go back into the group of three at the top of the table with 10 points each. They have the best net run rate of that trio: 0.939. With this win, they've also made it 4 out of 4 while batting first. Hope you've enjoyed our coverage tonight. Look forward to your company for the remainder of the season.
Sanju Samson: "This is a win the team and dugout really wanted. The way youngsters Jaiswal, Devdutt, Jurel batted was outstanding, the mindset of attack, attack and attack is something we will keep promoting in the dressing room. Credit goes to the team management and support staff [for working with players like Jaiswal] who work very hard at the academy. Lot of work has gone behind his success. Proud of the way he's playing."
Yashasvi Jaiswal is the Player of the Match for his IPL best, a 43-ball 77.
Akhil: "CSK batters never could guess who is going to ball next over. That's how much good Sanju handled his bowlers today"
MS Dhoni: (pardon the odd paraphrase) They scored quite a bit above par. We gave away too many in the first six. At the same time, wicket was great to bat on. Bowlers bowled well in the middle overs but a lot of edges went for boundaries, at least 5-6 went for them and that had made an impact. They had par-plus and we couldn't get a good start in the power play with the bat. I felt Pathirana's bowling was good, he didn't bowl badly. I think the scorecard doesn't reflect how well he bowled. Yashasvi batted really well, was important to go after the bowlers and it was important to take calculated risks. We had to assess what a good length is, as captain you tell them but initially we have away a few boundaries and after that you're always playing catch up. In the end of the innings, Jurel batted well but I think it's the first six where it got away from us. This is a very special venue, my first ODI hundred in Vizag gave me 10 games but the 183 I made here gave me another one year. It was great to be back here.
Rajkumar: "As a CSK fan, Hope Dhoni is preserving himself for a playoff surprise."
11.10pm CSK were never in this. Not even when Dube got going along with Moeen to inject some late momentum. The start was slow, and the pressure of having to force the pace got to every batter that came along. Conway had an off day, Gaikwad blew hot and cold, Rayudu was out for a two-ball duck and Rahane was consumed by the pressure of going after every ball. Not all's lost though. CSK are still in a fairly good position at third despite this loss. The margin of victory could've been a lot bigger than the eventual result.

Kevin: "What is Sandeep doing that other bowlers are not able to? -- Clarity & experience at play
Samrat Ahuja: "On current form,, Boult should come in the 11 at the expense of Holder(especially since his batting is not being utilized by RR). Holder's performance has been under par this season, and with emergence of Jurel, it would be better if RR has an all weather bowling attack!" -- Boult missed tonight due to a niggle.
Sandeep to bowl out
