PDP will take over, so expect some fast typing and many an Elvis reference and maybe a thrilling chase.
ved: "When wides and no balls are almost meagre (4 wides only Zero NB in this match) - means 10 extra balls average less ... that is the clinical and critical difference between 150 " Yes, good spot.
George: "Unpopular opinion: A lot of calls from reputed commentators and ex-players to get Arshdeep into the Indian team because of his run-restricting skills. The IPL has proved conclusively that a player who takes wickets is miles ahead in value compared to one who just restricts. "
Naresh: "I posted a comment saying LSG getting 180 when the forecaster said 157 thinking I would beat the forecaster. How wrong I am. smh" Nah, this wicket is tricky. It's hard to judge it based on appearance, so you are in lots of company.
Pramod : "When it's a short run, why do the rules permit the striking batsman to come back to striking end again? I wonder whether the last ball would have been hit for 4 by Avesh Khan. Unfair advantage to LSG?? " They often run almost through the ends, so it is fine.
Hruday: "For rarer signals do the umpires get a hint in the earpieces? Someone saying okay Michael, you need to touch your shoulder now. " It would help.
Kagiso Rabada, 4-0-38-4: Lots of improvement up front. The wickets in the middle slowed them a lot. There were no excuses for the performances in the beginning of the tournament. I prepare to bowl at every stage, so it depends where the bulk of the work is and bowl accordingly. It is a bit sticky, so we tried to hit a hard length. But if you bat or bowl with application, you can do well.
9:17 pm: Thanks to some lower order runs, LSG manage to go over 150 after a collapse. After KL fell early, QDK and Hooda managed to get a good partnership. But Sandeep's return worked for Kings and started a collapse. The run-out of Hooda was a highlight. The lower order sticks swung their bats around, Chameera and Mohsin were effective. That helped take the score over 150. The bowlers did well, the wicket is a tad sticky. This looks a par score. Let's see whether that is the case though.
Gajendra: "Every run is like gold dust here for LSG." 3 away from 150 with 3 balls to go, can they get there?

kevin: "ok, i made the comment about sandeep getting some stick, but that was right before he took QdK's wicket and triggered the collapse. 4-18-1 is nothing to sneeze at, and I stand corrected." It started bad but that wicket was massive.
