mani: "Harshal played a wonderful role in 3/14 from 3 overs. the last over is an abberation which he must forget as a bad dream.Jadeja also had to prove himself and this is coincidental that you were the chosen one.Remember Stuart Broad in that 36 by Yuvraj. Broad came a long way after that mauling and is still a vital cog for England.."

Attila: "The 20th over has become an exemplar of what some expect RCB to do in IPL seasons as some pointed out earlier. Brilliant until almost the end but quite all the way"

Ashwin: "Poor guy Harshal. Bowling so well this season. Now even if he wins the purple cap, he will always be known as the guy who conceded 37 in an over."

Mithul: "From the best seat in the house, for the second time Dhoni witnessed another left handed partner pummel 36 runs in an over!!"

Manu Ajmani: "This is why Jadeja can't be replaced by Krunal or anyone at number 7 in team India. What a valuable asset he is to any team! Simply outstanding!"

Rahul Satish: "Harshal's just been handed a re-examination of his entire life. Whataplaya Jaddu!"

Adarsh: "Wow! That over changed the entire complexion of the game. The favourites tag has shifted from RCB to CSK now."

hardik: "too bad, was hoping for 7 sixes"

Suhas: "Kohli should have let Dhoni take the strike at 18.6 . "

5.26pm Whew! What just happened? Jadeja equals the highest runs scored in an over - Gayle had got 37 against Parameswaran, for RCB against Kochi, all the way back in 2011. It's the fourth time in T20s, the highest remains 38. Scott Styris against James Fuller during his 37-ball 100 for Sussex in 2012. That is a match-changing innings, dare I say potentially match-winning. RCB had done so well to apply the brakes in the middle overs, and it has all gotten away from them in the last over. It was Harshal who did haul them back in - he had 3 for 14 before this over began! CSK might have been looking for 180, then re-adjusted to 170. They've got 191. Dan Christian's drop of Jadeja...well, there's no way that isn't playing on his mind. We're back shortly for the chase.

Patel to Jadeja, FOUR, makes it 37 off the over! And only a few yards short of making it 39. They gave him a chance and boy has he made them pay. Utter domination. This is overpitched on leg stump, he clears the front leg and swipes it over square leg
19.5
6
Patel to Jadeja, SIX, fifth six of the over! Harshal has completely come apart! This is RCB's man at the death this season, who's done so so well. He's run into Jadeja and he's run out of answers. It's a full toss in the corridor and Jadeja clubs it over long-on. 33 off the over so far
19.4
2
Patel to Jadeja, 2 runs, dropped at extra cover. Low full toss pushed wide outside off, reaches out and nearly clears the fiedler for four. He jumps with the perfect timing and gets two hands on it, but can't hold on
19.3
6
Patel to Jadeja, SIX, pulled to deep midwicket's left! Brings up at 25-ball fifty! Unreal batting this. Harshal is flustered. It's a slower short ball, but there's room on it as it's outside off. And he uses that swinging room to clear the boundary

Seven runs and now a free-hit. That dropped catch of Jadeja is coming back to haunt them. And how. Harshal's already conceded more this over than he had in the three before this. he's going back over the wicket.

19.3

Patel to Jadeja, (no ball) SIX, smoked over deep midwicket and could be no-ball for height! Yes it is! Harshal goes around the wicket and serves up a baseball swing for Jadeja and he has slaughtered that. It's outside off and above waist height, and it has been punished
19.2
6
Patel to Jadeja, SIX, misses the length on his yorker and is punished. Full at middle stump, clears the front leg and nails the slog once more
19.1
6
Patel to Jadeja, SIX, swung between long-on and deep midwicket. Flat and over the line. It's a cutter at good length on middle stump. He clears the front leg and swings it off the middle

1
Mohammed Siraj to Jadeja, 1 run, yorker length at middle stump, mistimed slog to deep midwicket's right and they won't take Kohli on for the second as he slides and recovers
18.5
4
Mohammed Siraj to Jadeja, FOUR, switches up his length and Jadeja gets four off the top edge. Sharp bouncer at middle stump, Jadeja in terrible position for the hook. It sails over the keeper

1
Mohammed Siraj to Dhoni, 1 run, yorker at leg stump, looks to turn that behind short fine but gets an inside edge onto pad

Siraj nailing that yorker length so far, can he keep it up to Dhoni?

Patel to Jadeja, 1 run, full at middle stump, steps out and whips to deep midwicket on the bounce

Ashok Kumar: "Dhoni should see himself as a floater/stabilizer who comes in when there is fall of quick wickets. Curran is much better option with 2.3 overs left."

Patel to Rayudu, OUT, picks out deep square. Offcutter at a length outside off, gets his weight into the off side and looks to swish that over the fine leg boundary. No pace on it, and he's not in the best shape right now either. Can't get enough power on that to clear Jamieson

1
Mohammed Siraj to Jadeja, 1 run, full at middle stump, looks to power that straight off the front foot, gets a thick inside edge to deep square's leg left

The medical team is out for Rayudu, who is on his haunches. Unsure if he was gassed out or pulled something as he stretched to get back in the crease. Some of RCB's fielders have taken the opportunity to have a sit. Looks like Rayudu is good to go now.

16.4
2
Mohammed Siraj to Jadeja, 2 runs, slower ball at a length outside off, punched to deep point's left and they come back for a second that ends up with Rayudu limping as he stretches to get back into the crease
