Who should open alongside Quinton de Kock in the absence of Rohit Sharma? Have your say in our poll on the Live Report

Cameron: "@suyog - you left out Hazlewood, arguably the best of the lot!"

Suyog: "Here, I am saying it first. A game is not lost until it it is actually lost. In Thakur, Chahar, Curran, Jadeja and Tahir, CSK have potent attack. They can certainly attack and give it a try to make this a humdinger."

Vinod: "Thank you, Sam Curran! Nothing else as a CSK fan. "

Srinivasan: "I hope this is not to prove the youngsters doesn't have the spark. Give the same number of chances Jadhav, Rayudu, Chawla got for CSK,. I'm sure these will prove their mettle shortly. Persist with them for the next 3 matches,. There is nothing for us to lose now and request CSK management not to go back the perious 11."

Kishore: "Lone hand from Sam curran, should definitely be batting in the top 6 for CSK, a true all rounder to replace an aging Watson and Bravo"

abhishek: "Record 9th wicket partnership and it involves none other than Imran, the 'run' machine. "

7:46pm CSK have managed 43 off the last five overs, all of them from this last partnership of Curran and Tahir. That is now the record partnership for the ninth wicket. And when you get that in the first innings of a T20, you know the rest of the day has gone terribly. CSK were 21 for 5 and then 30 for 6 after Dhoni fell in the 7th over, and the lower order has done well to stretch the score up to 114. Curran the anchor, the aggressor - the everything, really, in an innings full of nothings on the night. Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah asked questions at the start that CSK's top order didn't answer with any prudence. A flat deck in Sharjah, certainly no demons about, but there are plenty in some of those CSK minds at the moment and it showed. All in all, it is yet another tame batting performance. Back shortly for the chase.
