7:35pm Delhi Capitals will be happy chasing 152 on what has looked a very tricky pitch to bat on. It's not a chase where they'll have to take too many risks, in theory. Royal Challengers will need to stretch this to 17.3 overs if they want their NRR to stay above KKR's. If Delhi get to 134, they will stay above KKR. So those are the margins. In essence, a win for DC in 17.3 overs or later will put them in the top 2 and RCB will qualify for the playoffs. A win earlier than that, and an SRH win will knock RCB out. This is all with the assumption that DC make exactly 153. If they get a few more, the numbers vary. If they get to 158, for instance, then the figure for RCB is 18.1 overs.

Nortje to Shahbaz Ahmed, 1 run, short and wide outside off. Backs deep into the crease for the upper cut, but that comes off the toe-end and ends up at extra cover

Nortje to Washington Sundar, 1 bye, short and rising quickly in the corridor outside off. He's well beaten on the cut but they sneak a bye

Nortje to Udana, OUT, taken at long-off. 150.4kph. Short and rising outside off. Backs into the leg side and looks for the horizontal bat shot. Slices it up for Iyer, who had gone back after the last ball. Runs in and takes it easily

Nortje to Udana, FOUR, just clears mid-off with a miscued swipe. Short of a length and just outisde off. Slices from under that. Looks like ball hitting bat rather than the other way round. But it's looped over Iyer and run into the boundary

W
Nortje to de Villiers, 1 run, OUT, full toss at middle stump, goes too hard at the slog and miscues it. Ends up at long-on where Rahane has done brilliantly. Not the fielding itself, because it was straight at him. But the presence of mind to throw to the end AB is running at - the striker's end to keep strike. Took his time, lobbed it in really. Pant grabs it on the half-volley and catches AB well short. That is potentially a few runs saved for DC

AB de Villiers run out 35 (21b 1x4 2x6) SR: 166.66

Nortje to de Villiers, no run, beats him with a slower ball. A full toss outside off, but dipping rapidly as AB looks for the slog

That's a decent end to the 19th over for Rabada after it began with a six. Only five off the next five. Nortje now has AB lining him up.

Rabada to de Villiers, SIX, sent a million miles over the leg side! Whew. A knee high full toss on leg stump. Need one say more when AB is the batsman? Firm in his half-crouch and sends it over square leg

Sams to Dube, 2 runs, full and slow outside off. Backs away and drills to long-off's right

Sathish: "I had the same question that Sriram had and very curious. Is there any reason for DC not wanting to see RCB in the play-offs?" --- Strategically, I can't think of one

Sams to Dube, SIX, slogged to deep midwicket's left. Sams misses on the yorker. It's a friendly full toss at middle stump and it feeds Dube's swing across the line

Sriram: "Is there any motivation for Delhi Capitals to chase 161 in 17.2 overs? I think they will just focus on 2 points and play slowly?" --- You can never tell for sure with pitches, but I don't think even 140 in 17.2 overs is an easy chase on this surface. Expect Delhi to be circumspect.

Rabada to Dube, no run, good length and pushed across off stump, looks to push through the covers with minimal feet. That's flown past him. 136kph
