9:55pm Welcome back, everyone! And to M Vijay, who has walked out with Watson.
Santner: "Pretty humid around these parts, but good to get a game. They've made a pretty competitive total. The wickets in NZ are more like the outfield here, so you need to keep it simple here. It's hard sitting out, but that's just because of the quality in our squad. And when you get a call-up, it's nice to get a good day out. Hopefully we can get a good partnership at the top. The first six overs will be important. If Watson gets off to a flyer again, that's handy. But if you keep wickets intact and take it deep, then there's a chance. You look at Mumbai's bowling, so they have class as well. Hopefully we get it done before their best bowlers return in the back end. Dew? Hopefully. There's been more dew here, but let's hope it gets difficult for the likes of Krunal Pandya."
9.40pm A 17-run final over saves Mumbai some blushes at the death. From over 10 to 19, they added only 54, but the big final over gives them some momentum into the break. Rohit Sharma looked sublime while he was around, but the spin bowlers - especially Santner - asked some difficult questions in the middle.
While that troubled Mumbai in the first innings, it bodes well for their spinners Krunal and Rahul Chahar who will have a go on this surface very soon. How big a role will dew play tonight though? We'll find out when the second innings begins soon.
Dileep: "I'm hoping CSK and RR win against MI and SRH, so that RCB has a better chance to make it to the playoffs" -- same, because of KKR's chances *fingers crossed*
Final over. Only 54 runs scored by Mumbai in the last 54 deliveries. Can they finish off with a flurry of boundaries?

Vishal Poojary: "With all discussion around dropping-catches intentionally - This game has been a good example of how wickets add up to the pressure and put brakes to the score with new batsman in."
Harish Prabakar: "@Venky: Can we praise CSK bowlers for bowling on line and length in the last 5 overs it's less than 30runs with 3 wickets."

Forecaster suggests Mumbai will finish on 149. They'd be disappointed with that total, after scoring nearly 100 runs in 12 overs.
Prem : "Really excited to see Chennai batting. How will they approach the innings at the top knowing they don't have a Dhoni or a Jaddu for those big hits at the back. "
Ram_Modies: "@vasisht Not to mention the new kid called 'sambalpur ka jadeja'?!" -- Samastipur!
Viswa: "Get ready for On field rivalry between Bravo and Pollard!"
Stefan: "In the final over of SA's epic stonewall in Adelaide, Morné Morkel blocked a ball straight back. As the fielder was chasing it, all the Aussies were shouting at him to let it go to the boundary to keep Faf off strike. And that's absolutely fine! No-one said anything (rightly so), it's just tactics. Is it really different to kicking a ball for 4, or dropping it intentionally? I don't know, very grey. "
