Knight Riders self-destructed through the middle, losing four in quick succession after a blistering opening stand between Lynn and Narine, and there was no Russell magic to bail them out this time, and perhaps, they waited too long to send him in. Lynn struck a scratchy fifty, his slowest in the IPL, but there wasn't much else. However, it isn't a terrible total on a dying pitch, and those blows from Cariappa in the end could prove critical, particularly if Knight Riders can dislodge the openers early. Back with the chase soon
Bhuvneshwar: We have a plan for him (Russell), but it was a win for us, conceding two sixes but getting him out. I wanted to mix it up, bowl one yorker, one slower one, one bouncer. It's a good total to chase but it's a slow wicket, the ball's not quite coming on.
