8.50pm Only 18 runs off the last two overs, and that means Sunrisers have ended up with a total that's good, but far from being great. But you know what they say about tournament finals. Runs on the board and what not.

No half-centuries in the Sunrisers innings, but useful forties from Kane Williamson and Yusuf Pathan have helped them set a challenging total. Lungi Ngidi and Deepak Chahar were excellent with the new ball, and that'll give Bhuvi and Sandeep Sharma some hope. Can Sunrisers pull off another successful defense? Or will CSK clinch their third IPL title? We'll find out in just a bit, as Nikhil Kalro returns to kickstart the chase.

Shakib Al Hasan: Good total. In a final match, runs on the board always pressure. Good wicket and they have some good batsman. So we need to concentrate for every ball. On this track, if you keep wickets in hand, then you can score 100 runs. That's what our plan was, and it came off. Need to assess the wicket and bowl accordingly. If it's gripping, then we'll have to bowl slow. We've got a brilliant bowling side, and we need to step up. Butterflies in our stomachs, but we need to keep our processes right.

Thakur to Brathwaite, OUT, Holes out but Sunrisers finish on 178 for 6. Short outside off again, and he tries to pull it towards the leg side. off the bat's toe end, and caught easily by Rayudu. Who's got the momentum at the break?

Thakur to Brathwaite, SIX, flat-batted over long on! He's not even hit it well, but Brathwaite's so powerful that the ball soars over Rayudu. It was short, and Brathwaite clearly hadn't timed it well, but hey, welcome to T20 cricket
