8.55pm George Binoy wonders if Rashid Khan just done a DK to DK's team?

8.50pm Sunrisers started slowly, revved up, then lost Williamson-Dhawan in the same over to Kuldeep, struggled against spin and then once again found their mojo at the death. The one question I've got: why have they not realised Rashid's potential as a batsman? He's played an absolute blinder to give Sunrisers 174 when 150 looked tough for large parts.

Piyush Chawla who finished with 0-22 off three overs says: "This feels a much better wicket that what we saw the other day. It's coming on. We've to just back ourselves and chase this down."

Peter: "Rashid's innings is what will be the difference for SRH. With this innings, Rashid hasn't done any harm at all to his value for next season."

BBC Magar: "Oh boy! Is Rashid turning to be an all-rounder? His batting was awesome! Now, they have something to bowl at."

Sid: "After Yusuf got out, it looked like typical SRH innings. But what a boost by Rashid. Might be a match winning innings, if they get Sunil Narine early. "

Prasidh Krishna to Rashid Khan, SIX, slower delivery, he fetches this from way outside off and muscles this over long-on. Is this a game-changing knock? Stunning hitting. Once again Prasidh lost his length, bowled too full. Rashid was expecting it as he waited, waited, waited and then clobbered it away.

Prasidh Krishna to Rashid Khan, 2 runs, has he clobbered this or what? Not much timing but plonks between the man running in from square leg and the boundary rider. They're back for the second.

Prasidh Krishna to Rashid Khan, 1 wide, full but far too wide outside off, pressure getting to Prasidh

Prasidh Krishna to Rashid Khan, SIX, remember that stroke! So reminiscent of that flick Carlos hit to win the World T20! Full and sliding in, Rashid takes a step outside off and brings his powerful wrists to flick this over deep backward square leg. Sensational. Used the depth of the crease superbly

4
Prasidh Krishna to Rashid Khan, FOUR, slower and fuller on middle, he holds his shape and then lofts this cleanly over the bowler's head. Long-off was in so all he needed to do was loft this over the infield

Prasidh Krishna to Kumar, 1 run, full and angling into middle and leg, whipped to deep midwicket

Prasidh Krishna to Kumar, FOUR, backs away and uses the width to slice this over backward point, clever from Bhuvi

Shivam Mavi to Rashid Khan, SIX, carved deep into the stands at deep cover. Chawla can only watch this sail over! Mavi went full and wide, Rashid was down on one knee as he reached out and then hammered that away

Shivam Mavi to Rashid Khan, SIX, bursts through Chawla's hands at deep point for six! Steps out and slaps this length ball, would've been straight down his throat had he stayed right at the ropes. May have come in a little too much

Shivam Mavi to Rashid Khan, no run, beaten for pace! 142.4kph. Short of length outside off, Rashid looks to punch on the up but is beaten

Shivam Mavi to Pathan, OUT, gets more elevation than distance, Piyush Chawla running in from sweeper cover takes an excellent catch! Yusuf looked to go over long-off, sliced it. That said the ball was swirling, curved away late even as Chawla misjudged it as it descended. Somehow managed to stay low and complete it despite this being away from his body.

Prasidh Krishna to Rashid Khan, FOUR, thick outside edge that beats a leaping DK. Looked to hoick this across the line

Point went back, so Prasidh had the option of bowling wider and that's what he did. That said, it needed a superb effort from Nitish Rana

W
Prasidh Krishna to Brathwaite, 1 run, OUT, stunning effort in the deep by Nitish Rana! This is yorker-length outside off, Carlos carves this with an opened bat face towards square third man, where he covers at least 20 yards around the ropes before diving. Recovers quickly and then throws right on the bounce to DK who whips the bails off to beat a diving Carlos.

Narine to Pathan, no run, skids one at length outside off, Yusuf lunges forward and leaves alone

Can Carlos play an innings to remember?

Mounika is clearly upset, but very optimistic: "Why is everybody talking as if the game is over when even the first innings isn't completed yet? Please remember SRH bowling! Don't count them out yet!"

Narine to Hooda, OUT, the reverse sweep, but there's no timing because of the length. Straight to point. The bounced more than Hooda would've liked. First wicket for Narine on the night.
