0.5 and gone next ball! Lynn looks up for some help, but alas! A thick edge behind to the keeper, as he opens the bat face a touch while trying to have a jab at that good length in the channel outside off. But he plays away from his body and without any foot movement, as the ball is gobbled behind. Lynn's dry run continues, as Heat start with a first-over wicket 10/1
6.6 finds deep backward square leg! And Rashid has a little message for Bryant here. The ball is full and given some air on middle and off. He is down to sweep again, but this time doesn't get the timing and the distance, as the fielder in the deep takes a few steps to his left to pouch that safely. An chancy cameo comes to an end 74/3
2.4 nails that yorker, and bang! Appeal for leg before, and given. Siddle hits back soon. That ball landed right in the slot on middle, while darting in a touch too. Cooper's front leg was out of the way as he tried to clip that ball too, but the length was too full for that shot. He missed, and the ball hit his back toe right in front of the stumps 34/2
17.4 googly full on fourth stump, goes to slog sweep this and picks out deep midwicket two yards in from the rope, taken by Wells with a bunny hop reaching above at head height. Five yards either side of the fielder and it carries over the rope for six. 188/4
17.5 another slog sweep, Short ranges 15 yards to his left at long-on and pulls off a spectacular leaping catch above his head five yards inside the rope. This one was twice as good as the Wells catch because he had more distance to cover and head to take it on the ring whereas Wells jumped from a settled position. 188/5
19.2 full and straight, you miss and I hit. Peirson went for a slog over midwicket and catches nothing but air. Siddle catches nothing but the stumps and uproots the leg peg. 202/7
18.4 full and wide, slices this drive high toward the cover sweeper, who runs in 15 yards and takes a safe catch settling on his knees with a mini-slide. 197/6

1.3 chops on! Short of a length ball on middle and off, and angling away, as he goes for the pull earlier than required. Gets a bottom edge low on to middle and off, and bang! Weatherald goes for only 1, as Heat start commandingly 17/2
0.5 little edge behind, and gone! One shot too many for Short, and Kuhnemann has the last laugh. The ball was much shorter and a touch wide of off, as Short went slashing at that away from is body, but ended up a thickish top edge to the keeper, who did well to react so early. A wicket in the first over for Heat 15/1
11.1 slower ball overpitched on fifth stump, goes to drive down the ground but gets this off the toe and it lobs up to the long-off fielder Duckett who charges forward and takes a sliding catch on his knees 20 yards in from the rope. 88/3
12.4 superb relay catch. Would've been a showstopper a decade ago but is a yawning cliche now. Full delivery on fifth stump, slog sweep out to deep midwicket, catch taken by the fielder running right at deep midwicket and flicks it back to his backup teammate coming over from deep square leg. Bryant did the initial work but Guthrie will get all the credit on the scorecard. 97/4
19.5 length ball slogged to long-on, simple and casual catch taken a few yards in from the rope by Duckett jogging in stride to his right at waist height. 166/8
15.3 slower ball lands full outside off, tries to heave this down the ground but skies this over short midwicket. Simple catch on the ring. 127/5
16.5 Garton's fun finally ends. Goes for another reverse sweep but Kuhnemann fired this in very quickly at 110 kph and very very full on middle. It sounded like a possible edge onto the pads as Garton stumbles over off balance trying to adjust to the pace of the delivery. Big shout from the bowler is upheld though to boos from the home fans. 147/6
17.4 slower ball back of a length on off stump, Rashid is out in front of a leg side heave and the top of off stump is pinged to send the timber cartwheeling back. 152/7
