That ends our activities for the BBL game today. Thank you for tuning in. Goodbye.

Sydney Sixers Captain Moises Henriques: "There are good and bad ways to lose. And tonight, I felt was one of the good ones, you know, from the position we were in, to fight like we did in that partnership of Jordan and KP. And then after that, it was Jordan and Lockie (Lachlan) and then even Benny (Dwarshuis) there at the end to come in, I think at one stage we got it down to about 42 off 21 or 40, yeah something like that and if looked at the bowlers to come in if it wasn't Ellis and CJ you'd almost back us But knowing that they've got, you know, specialist death bowlers for the last 18 balls is always going to be a tough task. (Difficulty during the run chase) Well, I think for like clearly when there were only two fielders out for us, I think there are six overs batting wise went for well over 70, maybe 80 runs. And then, for us, it was sort of, three for three for 35 or something off hours, six overs, with only two out when we batted. So, there's a big change there. Obviously, the Power Play in the Surge we lost by a considerate margin tonight. But I think when we I'm finding it very hard to come up with a plan that works well for him. We try to go wide. And he just kept piercing it along the ground through the offside. And if it wasn't along the ground, I was in the air over mid-on. So we'll have to rethink a few things there but it's just again in their Surge as well when David got away with a little nick for fourteen to get him started next ball for six. It's one of those things tonight but in terms of as I mentioned before, I just felt like from where we were at three for ten to get close and especially some of the guys that got us close, KP, I think that's a big innings for him. If we're going to win this tournament, I think he's got to play a match-winning Innings in the next two, and then Lockie Shaw to come in, an even better experience for him against some of the best death bowling there is. (Chohan) He's fantastic. I am still batting against him in the net. I'm still struggling to raid him. Rarely misses as well for a leggy. Obviously, one of the toughest art in the game and very consistent, very happy with the way that ball's coming out for him. (Challenger) I think our home fans deserve another match at home as well, so hopefully we can give him a win whoever we play, we've just got to scrap and do our best and see what happens, and hopefully, the results will be very different to the one tonight. And we're back here whenever that game is Sunday or Monday or something like that."

Kannadachi : "The 13 runs scored by Tim.David after the edge which wasn't appealed has proved to be the margin ! "

Hobart Hurricanes Captain Nathan Ellis: "(Going to the Finals) I can't take any credit. It's been an absolutely stellar season for the team. I mean, I've said it numerous times so far, you don't see many Hurricanes at the top of the runs and top of the wickets. And I think that's indicative of our season. So another team performance here tonight in front of a full Ninja crowd, which is the first time I've had that. So a really great night for cricket and Tasmania and a great night for the Hurricanes. So, we get to do it all again. (Wicket) Yeah, and I think we figured it out quickly. I think Mitch Owen made it look a hell of a lot different to everyone else he got off to a stellar start. I thought maybe it was going to be similar to the Bellerive evening wickets that we've got throughout the season. But we saw and we communicated throughout, that the slower balls are gripping. And you saw how many balls are coming off the cue end as you said earlier. But again I think our bowling attack this season so far, has really dovetailed nicely and has communicated what the wicket's doing and what the ball might be doing. So I feel like we did that tonight after a hot start from Rizza. So yeah, as I said, just really proud of this group. (Captaincy pressure) The funny thing is, I probably feel more calm with the ball in my hand at death than I do, trying to captain and I'm still learning. It's still new to me. I'm still trying to find the balance with my emotions needing to be here for bowling, but down here for captaining. As you guys would know, it can be tricky at times but always good when you win and always good when you get the overs in time. That's been the pain in my existence this season (Laughter). (Next couple of days) Yeah, that time of the season is a few. So, I'm sorry, boys floating around. So it was a really good incentive for us tonight to get some time. For some guys, we had a busy schedule towards the back end. So some time for some guys to put their feet up for a couple of days, a couple guys have got as I said, the car was dangled that if we won we might go to Barnbougle for a few days. So there's a few happy boys and there's a few happy golfers there. So definitely earn a little bit of a recovery time over the next couple of days but then back into it and ready to go for Monday."

Player of the Match Riley Meredith: "(Bowling over 150 clicks) Yeah, honestly felt bad after missing the last one (Match) at the MCG and going down so I felt like I'll probably have to repay the faith I guess a little bit and yeah just steam this hard as I could and hit hard. (Resting period) I didn't need to think it was necessary. It was just sort of a pretty crap period for us and it was a trouble play. So we thought we were in the home Final anyway, so worth going. (Hosting the Final) Yeah, it's going to be unbelievable. So loud here tonight, unbelievable atmosphere. So It's going to be big for Hobart and big for Tassie I think it's going to be a huge game. It'll be a huge match. I think there are a few spots open on the hill so I think we'll try and cramp in (fans) as many as we can. But it's going to be unbelievable. I think for the next few days, probably just take it easy. I think we're gonna head out to Barnbougle for a little golf trip, trying our mind a little bit, and then click on with a bit of training and a bit of analysis."

The Hobart Hurricanes got off to the right start. Philippe, the Sixers' opener, was dismissed for a duck. Both Meredith and Gannon went through the Sixers' top order, and it was too late for them to recover and cross the finish line. Patterson and Shaw performed well in the middle to keep the game going. Later, Shaw and Silk rebuilt the innings well and nearly got them over the finish line. Silk scored a solid fifty, 57 runs off 44 balls. Shaw and Dwarshuis had a strong cameo in the last stages of the game, but it wasn't enough to win the game. The Hobart Hurricanes simply outperformed the Sixers tonight. The Sydney Sixers players and supporters will have a lot of what-ifs and buts on their thoughts. What if the Sixers appealed for Tim David, who was caught behind? What if Dwarshuis hadn't misfielded that boundary? In these kind of high-stakes matches, even the smallest margins count. But it doesn't matter now since Hobart has advanced to the finals, while the Sixers will get another chance to compete in the challenger.

Scott : "Jordan was faultless under pressure in his last three overs. Even managed a great catch in between. "

Jordan to Dwarshuis, FOUR, Full in the slot outside off, heaves it away with the sweet part of the bat, muscles it straight over the bowler's head, one bounce and onto the ropes. But it doesn't matter to the Hobart Hurricanes supporters and players; the crowd went crazy around the stadium as the Hobart Hurricanes advanced to the finals after 7 years and will also host the match here at the Ninja Stadium!
