10:40pm: And that's all we have tonight, as the Renegades have the first win of their season. We'll be back with more BBL action tomorrow with the big Sydney derby as the Thunder take on the Sixers. Until then, on behalf of our scorer K Vairavan, this is Aaditya Narayan signing off. Good night, take care.
Jake Fraser-McGurk is the Player of the Match
"Very happy to get our first win of the season. Don't know a lot about it (Clarke's injury), so didn't want to risk too much. (On Marsh) Just an old head, just to have that experience and know-how there was so good for us tonight. There's always been belief but there a point a year and a half ago, where I thought I needed to do something different. I did that, and it's starting to turn a bit now and hopefully keeps going. I do enjoy hitting sixes. As I said the other night, it's like getting a nice drive in golf. In bowlers' terms, it's like bowling someone out"
10:35pm: Right then, the Renegades are on the board in terms of wins this season. The Strikers, meanwhile, have now lost eight away games in a row. 177 seemed like a good score, but they had the game taken away from them by two stunning knocks. First Jake Fraser-McGurk went his own merry way and showed incredible intent right from the off. He found the perfect foil in the experience of Shaun Marsh, who played a superbly calculated innings, especially against the spin of Cameron Boyce. Both those fities mean that the Renegades now have their first win of the season
JM Clarke retired out 28 (82m 19b 4x4 1x6) SR: 147.36
Tom Rogers, then. Can he finish it off without a hiccup? They've retired Clarke hurt again! Zampa has walked in alongwith Rogers
SE Marsh b Payne 54 (63m 33b 3x4 4x6) SR: 163.63
Payne to bowl what will surely be the last over of this match
