Scorer: @Thilak_Rama | Commentator: Shashwat Kumar

10:18pm Right. That will be a wrap from us for tonight. Hope you enjoyed our coverage as much as we enjoyed bringing it to you. Until next time, this is me (Shashwat) signing off on behalf of Thilak, Peter and everyone at ESPNcricinfo! Goodbye, and take care!

10:14pm Wow, a very emphatic victory for the Sixers. This game was billed as a clash between Smith and Warner but only one of them turned up today. While Smith was at his imperious best, smashing the ball to all parts, Warner looked scratchy and never got into his groove. That metaphor extended to the rest of his side as well, with Sydney Thunder eventually folding up for 62 and handing the Sixers a 125-run victory. 125, incidentally, is also what Smith managed on his own in the first innings.

The win means that the Sixers are now breathing down the Scorchers' neck at the top of the table. If both teams win their last game, the Scorchers will finish at the top of the points table. But if they drop points, the Sixers look more primed than ever to pounce. As for Sydney Thunder, well, their NRR has taken a pounding today and they could be leapfrogged by the Brisbane Heat, should the latter win their game against the Melbourne Stars tomorrow.

Abbott to Green, OUT, that will be that! Leg-cutter on a length on off stump that grips in the surface and deviates a touch. Green has a very loose waft at it and is beaten all ends up as the ball breezes past the outside edge and pegs back off stump!

Abbott to Sandhu, OUT, high in the air and safely pouched! Dug into the track on middle and leg stump. Sandhu backs away and has a massive yahoo at it. Unfortunately for him, he slices it straight up. Henriques settles himself and mid on and does the rest!

Abbott to Green, 1 run, back of a length delivery outside off stump. Green has a fence at it and squirts it off the inside edge into his pads. The ball rolls away into the off side for a single

Sydney Thunder have taken the Power Surge because, well, why not have some fun? Abbott to bowl
