7.45pm: Business as usual for Perth Scorchers as they rack up their ninth win of the season and continue to tussle for the lead with Sydney Sixers. The bowlers all did their bit in restricting Hurricanes to a middling total, and Aaron Hardie's career-best 90 not out from 62 balls saw them home with barely a hiccup. Hardie and Josh Inglis put on a 127-run stand for the third wicket, and that pretty much sealed the deal.

Hardie is understandably Player of the Match: "It was an awesome game, great to come away with a win. [We took] lots of wickets early but their tail came hard and got a total on the board. Nice to go out and chase them down. Love batting at No. 3, something I've done growing up. Being able to come out and go from ball one, absolutely loving it. [Inglis partnership] We knew we'd be able to rebuild, gave ourselves a bit of time. Got a few boundaries away early, which keeps the pressure off."

And that's a wrap from the Australian west, but there's plenty more cricket going on - Shubman Gill has scored a double-hundred in the Hyderabad ODI against NZ (you can watch that game in the UK on YouTube) and there's action from the SA20 and ILT20, too. Go get some! Bye

No hundred for Hardie, then. But still a match to win

Meredith to Inglis, OUT, short ball, edged behind! Inglis falls looking to uppercut a 144kph delivery. Stepped away, aiming to get this chase done, but just got a tickle through to Wade
