10.25 pm Strikers close out a comfy win by 25 runs. Chris Lynn's first innings onslaught was too much to handle but the Strikers bowlers contained the Renegades well.
Strikers stand-in captain Matt Short: "Without Sids it's a big loss and Rashid [Khan] as well. But we had good plans coming into this game that came off in the end. It's good to get the job done. I was copping a bit of slap from you blokes for batting a bit slow in the Powerplay so I was trying to lift the run rate. It's good to contribute with the bat. The wicket was a little dry but it was a pretty good all-round performance with the bat. I've found the challenge of being skipper thinking a lot more on your feet. We're lucky we had enough bowlers and most of us did our job tonight."
That's it for tonight's coverage. Come back tomorrow for more live BBL action. Until then, take care!
