5.10pm 209 in the last game and now finishing the 140 chase with nine wickets in hand, 16 balls to spare. Thunder now move to second place with their eighth win, and sixth in a row. Their bowlers were good enough to restrict Hurricanes first, and then the Hales storm took care of the chase. He didn't quite start with a bang, but once they took the power surge, there was no stopping him. Six fours and a six from him alone in the power surge, and Hales is also the Player of the Match: "It wasn't an easy wicket, difficult to start on. Tried to take it as deep as we can and became easier to bat once you faced 20-25 balls. Got a lot of downtime because of Covid, New Year's and then was my birthday (3rd January), I tried to enjoy myself and stay ready and fresh."
Stay tuned, you all, we also have Melbourne Stars taking on Adelaide Strikers soon. Until then, it's good bye and good luck from Vishal and Srinidhi. Stay safe everyone, don't forget your masks.
