Scorer: Binoy George | Commentator: @PeterDellaPenna

12.34 am So Colin Munro's bizarre century is a match-winning one in the end. Scorchers (especially Munro) had plenty of luck go their way, but to some extent, they also created their own luck. Strikers were sloppy in the field but the night isn't entirely in vain for them as they claim a Bash Boost point in the loss.

Player of the Match is Colin Munro: "We spoke after the last game that we needed to up the ante in the field and without a crowd that's pretty hard but we did it today. Big Mitchell Marsh and [Inglis] coming back will be big for us. When you have to keep moving franchises, you always have to prove yourself so to come back to the same franchise, same playing group and not have to focus on the outcome is pretty cool. We have to be adaptable and wherever we end up playing games, we just have to do it the best way we can. It helps that most of the players are based in Perth so to come in as an overseas player, it's easier to fit in to this environment."

That's it from today's coverage of the BBL doubleheader for today. Come back tomorrow (or later today since it's after midnight in Australia) when Sydney Thunder and Melbourne Stars square off. I'm Peter Della Penna, take care!
