10.05pm: Right, that's all we have for you from this BBL game. Do tune in tomorrow since the competition is only getting started. And of course, there's plenty of cricket happening the world over anyway. On behalf of Peter Della Penna and Ranjith P, this is Saurabh Somani, signing off.
Wes Agar is the Player of the Match: We knew we were bowling really well. In any T20 game you'll have batters getting away from you, but we discussed using our change-ups and we stuck to that. Luckily it paid off. (being 20-30 runs short) It was just a matter of putting the pressure on. We know we've got a very good bowling attack. We knew we could defend that total, have done it plenty of times at Adelaide Oval. For me the main thing is keeping it simple. When I'm not thinking too much, I'm bowling well. Hitting my hard length which has worked for me in the past. Have got a wealth of experience in Worral and Siddle, so that helps me as well. (Rashid) He's amazing. One period they needed 8.5 and end of the over they needed 10.
9.58pm: Comprehensive win for Strikers. Who would have thought they'd win by 49 runs when they were bowled out for 149. The Renegades batting limped throughout, never getting control of the chase. The bowling was tight and penetrative. Good knocks from Wells and Short, and nuggety contributions by the rest. The bowling was led by Rashid, the magician. Wes Agar got three wickets and bowled well too, while Worrall also got a couple.
