They did superbly to pull things back at the back end of the Renegades innings and that gave them and captain McDermott the comfort of building up calmly for the finish, despite losing two in two during the Powerplay. Boisterous and clean from D'Arcy Short, calm and collected from McDermott, and the Renagades' seamers couldn't quite back up their spinners' efforts.
