Scorchers finish bang on the average score. Hurricanes were outstanding in the field and superb with the ball at the death, led by captain Nathan Ellis. Josh Inglis and Ashton Turner had built a good platform but Scorchers couldn't cut loose. Less than a run-a-ball in the last five overs. Inglis' run out was a big moment. However, Hurricanes were skittled in their first match so eyes will now be on their batting which is missing Matthew Wade. Alex will be with you in a few minutes for the start of the chase.

alin: "Only 27 in the last five but Perth have a very good attack."

Sam : "This is a decent score. The pitch really slowed up when the ball because softer. The batters could barely hit it out of the square. The pitch will only get slower."
