Sowmya : "Take out Brown's pyrotechnics, the heat didn't have much to show. The strikers' batters are in good enough form to scale this tall ask down. Spencer Johnson Vs the shorts , Weatherald would be key match ups. " Let's see how that goes. Stay tuned, chase starting soon.

Barry: "I get the feeling that this is an average pitch and Brown has played a blinder."

Muzaffar: "Literally just messaged my nephew Heat are looking good for 250 here and they go and have a collapse of sorts (though don't know if you can call it a collapse with 200 on the board haha)"

8:09pm Brown's one-man show has been the front and centre of Heat's innings. He chanced an arm every time he could and finished with finished with 10 fours and 12 sixes (112 boundary runs) in his 57-ball 140. He stood still, he made room, he backed away and used the crease; he did it all to dispatch it to all parts. His hitting made the Surge almost seem irrelevant. He got some support from McSweeney, the skipper, after Wakim's inclusion didn't pay off. Renshaw then let him do his thing. He made 57 off 25 in the 65-run stand. The rest of the batters made 74 among them. His wicket allowed Heat's spinners to finally get in the game. The late collapse has reduced the target by maybe 20-30 runs but 214 is huge in a knockout match.

Sunitha : "215 if definitely more chaseable than 245 ! A thriller on the cards !"
