On that note it's a wrap from us. What a game we've had today, and we'll have more action on Monday when the Striker's take on the Heat in Carrara on Monday. But there's plenty of cricket to keep you busy until then, with the Under-19 World Cup, BPL, ILT20 and SA20 all taking place. So be sure to catch our coverage of that, but for now, on behalf of Vairavan and the rest of the team, this is Madushka signing out!
Thamizhachi : "It would take an exceptional display from Heat to stop a surging Strikers ! "
Machakaari: "Spinners dominating at Perth : Welcome to the future !"
David: "What's even more amazing about this (almost certain) victory is that the Strikers have done it with 13 overs of spin (after this one) and only 4 overs of seam so far! At Perth!!"
Abdul Samad: "What on pEARTH just happened?"

7:30pm So the Adelaide Strikers have not only won this game, but they've absolutely crushed it as they overcome the Perth Scorchers at the Optus - only Perth's second loss in 19 games at the venue. But this game certainly didn't look like it was heading this way for large parts. First when the Strikers had slumped to 48 for 4 in the 10th over, and then when Sam Fanning had helped the Scorchers race to 38 for the opening wicket. But both times the Strikers fought back, with the bat Jack Weatherald kept them in it, before Ben Manenti and Henry Thornton took them to a competitive total. And then with the ball the spinners just throttled the chase. Lloyd Pope picked up figures of 4 for 24, while Cameron Boyce had 3 for 20.
