Ben Dwarshuis, POTM: It's amazing. We set a competitive total. I got the rewards but we bowled well as a team. Really special to book a place in a home final. The wicket was two-paced and had a bit of variable bounce. We had the benefit of watching Heat's bowlers and learned from that. Always nice to see the ball moving around, which doesn't often happen in T20s. Home crowds always turn out for finals, hope we have a full-house there and can win another final.
9:50pm Sixers didn't have much of a chance of making this game when they were slated to take Perth Scorchers away, in their last league game. Now, they're just one step away from lifting the trophy. They lost a crucial bat flip but that worked out better. They struggled a bit with the bat but pulled through. They studied the pitch during the first innings and the bowlers held onto good lengths, which was all they needed to do. Batters weren't able to hit through the line and that showed right from the start, with Josh Brown's struggles. Peirson stuck around for a while but, unlike Moises Henriques in the first innings, couldn't turn things around.
