7:35pm That innings ebbed and flowed quite a bit. The Hurricanes began in sprightly fashion, scoring 34 runs in the powerplay without losing a wicket. Once the field restrictions were lifted, though, they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Between overs 12-15, they lost four wickets, which included two runs-outs - that of David and Wade, which led to them losing their way. Paris and Faheem struck a few lusty blows towards the end, meaning that they now have something to defend.
The Renegades, meanwhile, would be thrilled with how they pulled things back, even if they would be slightly unhappy with the concession of runs towards the end. Their pacers used the conditions on offer, bowled hard lengths and did not allow the batters to get into a rhythm. At the half-way mark, they would be content with what they are chasing, although they will have to bat well to chase down this total. Do join us in a bit for the run-chase!
Two balls left now, how many more can the Hurricanes get?

Last over of the Power Surge. Can the Hurricanes capitalize? They will have to do so against Richardson, though, which will not be easy
