9.38pm: Two batters and the rest - that was the story of this innings. But what a two it was. Hilton Cartwright smashed 79 off 44, Joe Clarke hammered 85 off 44. The only other double-digit score was Qais Ahmad's 16 from No.9. The Clarke and Cartwright show has pushed Stars well above 200 though and the Heat will have a job on their hands if they are to chase it down, or even threaten to. When the Stars had lost their first three wickets inside three overs, their projected score as per ESPNCricinfo's Forecaster was 156. At the height of the Cartwright-Clarke stand it had zoomed to 223. That's the kind of huge impact they had.

Mark: "The Stars a chance at 200 with Maxwell, Stoinis and Russell combing for 2 runs. What kind of bizzaro world is this. "
Rose: "Heat have struggled all season with not enough bowling - you need at least 6 options in T20 these days. They either needed an over at the top from Cooper or they should have used the X factor sub "
