10.38 pm As if getting stuck with Cartwright bowling the last over wasn't bad enough, the target has been significantly adjusted for the Stars on Duckworth-Lewis-Stern Method to make it 130 to win off 10 overs. The traditional thinking is that chasing in a rain-shortened match is preferred but it has backfired spectacularly in multiple ways for the Stars on this occasion, first with the bowler availability and now with 14 runs added to the Heat total.
Josh: "Am I the only one who thinks 130 is very gettable: It's only 13 an over with 10 wickets in hand and a very capable batting line up??"
Henk: "DLS took the contest out of this match.. 115 was a good chase ,but can't see how 130 will be chased down"
Dexter : "matches like proves why baseball is miles ahead of this circus sport that is cricket. i mean seriously, heat score 115, but stars need 130? give me a break, son."

CA Lynn b Maxwell 48 (23b 3x4 4x6) SR: 208.69
10.16 pm The covers are coming off. The word is that play will resume for a 10.28 pm restart. Match is now 10 overs per side with no Power Surge. The Stars are in a tricky situation needing a sixth bowler to bowl the 10th because everyone else they've used so far has bowled the maximum two overs, aside from Maxwell's current first over in progress. Most likely it means Hilton Cartwright will be tasked with bowling the 10th.
9.58 pm Three balls and the rain is back. Lynn's sixes have been rainmakers. Another delay in store. Radar is showing it may be stop-start for the remainder of the night.
Glenn Maxwell brings himself into the attack in the first over after the match has been reduced to 14 overs. Around the stumps to Lynn.
