Innings break The Hurricanes set a decent total. The innings wobbled after excellent half-centuries from Wade and Wright but Bailey bailed his side out with a phenomenal innings of 29 from 10. Daniel Sams was outstanding. He took critical wickets throughout the innings and conceded just 8 runs in the last over.

Kapil Baldawa: "I hope Ferguson's criticism is now justified? He bowls Sandhu and doesn't keep a track of his overseas pro, who is know for bowling death overs and bowls him 1 short. Definitely 10 runs less and Sydney would have been in the game, No?" Morris' first three overs cost 29 and he had been the second most expensive bowler for the Thunder this season of the 10 who have played conceding 8.62 an over. Sandhu had the best economy rate for the Thunder coming in. He now is second worst.

Shafi: "why faulkner did not come out to bat? " He is a slow started and is coming off a side strain that might restrict his hitting ability.
