4:21pm Five short of 150, but how many short of par? Renegades gave themselves little chance of posting a truly big total in the final, thanks to some top work in the Powerplay from Stars. They brought back Bird and they elected to bowl, and he delivered with two wickets and a big boot to run out Finch at the bowling end. With two top wristspinners in the team, they then tied up the Renegades even after the first six, and this led to two more strikes. Zampa and Sandeep with successful spells through the middle as Christian and Cooper were forced to be conservative. Not a lot of batting was left after them, and their 80-run stand off 58 balls was not a bad result in the end. At the least, it gives them a chance to pile on some pressure if they can get early wickets. We'll see if they can. Gnasher will start off the chase in a bit.
Around the wicket now

And he'll need to change his bat because of that impact
Phil: "Did Maxi miss a trick by not bowling himself after 2 spinners bowled 8 overs at 2/37?" --- Gotta keep in mind those two spinners were taking it away from the right handers and bowling a much flatter trajectory than Maxi.

What an over from Bravo. That 150 looks really steep now, it's going to take some sensational hitting.
Back over the wicket to Christian again
That's fifty for the pair
He's "going" now, says Christian on the mic. Going to stand outside off if he can, he says.
samraat: "Sandeep might have gone wicketless today but did an excellent job, going at just 4 RPO. he finished with 11 wickets from 8 matches at eco of 6.57"
