Well, that's a turn up for the books. Adelaide Strikers win by seven wickets with plenty of time to spare. Not a good night for the tournament leaders, but it won't damage the Hurricanes' spot in the semis. The Strikers are still just about a live in the competition. It was a thrilling opening stand between Carey and Weatherald which secured the victory, but it should also be remembered how well they finished with the ball. The Hurricanes looked set for 180+. An enjoyable evening of Big Bash and we'll be back tomorrow for Brisbane Heat v Perth Scorchers. Neither side really has much to play for, but some good players on show. Until then it's goodbye from Andrew McGlashan and thanks for joining us.
