4.3 extra bounce from Jansen, Shafique holes out! There's the breakthrough, and it's that lanky release point that does the trick! Shafique climbed into the short ball, seeking to lift it over the ropes, but got right underneath his stroke. Backward square was well positioned on the edge of the rope and the chance just plopped into his hands. 20/1
6.3 Jansen strikes with the full wide ball! Perfect length, right up in the arc for the drive, but the line was outside off and the pace was fractionally down. Imam's aggression turns into an off-balance over-reach, and a deep-set slip is waiting to pick off the chance! Excellent field placing and Jansen has both openers! 38/2
27.5 Geez, he gets the big fish! That was perilously close to disturbing the leg stump, sharp legbreak and he tries to scoop it over the keeper's head, Babar cannot connect apparently and they think he might have nicked it so after some deliberation, they decide it to send it upstairs. Let's have a look. Well, there is a slight deflection as the ball passes the gloves and the on-field umpire has to change his decision. That's a fantastic review. It was taken in the dying moments of the timer. Cagey stuff from Shamsi. Massive moment in the game as once again Babar perishes after getting to his fifty. He looks very disconsolate after miscuing the shot 141/5
15.5 bouncer again, and Rizwan falls! A wild swipe across the line, not remotely settled against the sharp pace and heavy lift off the deck. This one skims through at helmet height, and it's a faint but clear top-edge through to the keeper! Huge moment in this match 86/3
25.1 That hung in the air for a while and Klaasen pouches it safely at long-on, it was not an easy catch. Iftikhar came down the pitch and got the leading edge, got befuddled by a googly and he has to go back in the hut. This is a massive breakthrough as Iftikhar can do plenty of damage with his pyrotechnics but he departs after getting to a good start, continues to struggle against spin - this has been his Achilles heel, just not been able to dominate the spinners in this World Cup. Shamsi is pumped up as they all cluster together in joy 129/4
42.1 This is perfect! Gottim, Saud vanquished! Shamsi spreads his arms in delight and this is another vital breakthrough, another set batter dismissed. A quicker legbreak much closer to off stump, he throws his bat at it and nicks it through to the keeper. Saud takes the long walk back in the dugout. Good innings through, departs after adding 52 important runs 240/7
39.4 Hurls down a bumper, ball skimming at head height, 140kph on the speed dial, he tries to tug that away but ends up spooning it to short midwicket, Maharaj pouches it safely in his hands and Shadab goes after a crucial contribution of 43 runs but he would have dearly liked to continue for another few overs, just didn't get the requisite power behind the shot 225/6
45.5 length ball, Nawaz has a hack through the line but his weight is still back in the crease in a defensive position. A huge leading-edge flies high to the off-side, Miller hurtles in from point and gathers well, only about five metres from the batter's feet. A good knock, but Pakistan in danger of leaving a fair few runs out there now 268/9
44.2 Slip in place and Maharaj draws an outside edge. Undone by a pinpoint accurate delivery on a length and it bamboozles Shaheen. Another important breakthrough as he has the ability to whack some out of the park as he has done in PSL but this is a different ball game altogether against a quality bowling line-up and spin friendly conditions 259/8
46.4 huge thrash through the line, fifth-stump, a thin snick of willow as the ball flies through. South Africa bowl Pakistan out with three overs unused! 270/10

9.5 Gottim, snares South Africa captain! Bangs in a short of a length delivery angled into middle stump, he gets in a tangle and didn't get on top of the ball, lobs it straight to Saud Shakeel who initially went back but then settled underneath it to take a superb catch at short midwicket. Bavuma goes after getting a solid start. M.Wasim Jnr makes an impression straightaway! 67/2
3.3 Pakistan draw first blood! Caught on the crease, sharp rising delivery on middle and he picks out Wasim at deep square to perfection who reverse cups it! Quinton de Kock has to go! He cannot believe it! Wasim hangs on to it brilliantly in the deep, this was a half-tracker angled into the body and he went merrily for a back-foot pull but just didn't get enough elevation. Huge breakthrough! 34/1
18.5 nailed on the pad! The finger has gone up immediately but that looked very leg-sided! Rassie reviews... huge moment! To the naked eye that was clipping leg at best, but it was a topspinner from Mir, skidding on into the pads, and van der Dussen was a long way back. No inside-edge, all on ball tracker... and I heard a click as the picture vanished! Yep, umpire's call it is! Top of leg bail! 121/3
40.2 Usama Mir provides the breakthrough! Plenty of flight and spinning away outside off, he goes for the big shot and gets the leading edge, the captain Babar Azam backpedals, tracks the ball from the bat, through the air, towards him and then into his safe hands at cover-point. What a fabulous catch under pressure and the danger man Markram has to go! Pakistan fans, how are you feeling? 250/7
21.4 huge hack to deep third, Pakistan are brawling! Klaasen was unsettled by Wasim's pace off the wicket, and that is an off-balance swipe, high off a leading edge! Usama Mir, the super-sub, is in the action again, and makes no mistake as the chance plummets into his grasp, just inside the rope! 136/4
33.1 there's the nick! Miller is gone! Afridi hit a good length on off stump, drew the left-hander into a nibble outside his eyeline, the snick was palpable, but did it carry... looked clear enough to the naked eye, but the umpires are checking... clean as a whistle! Pakistan have their opening, and a key stand ends! 206/5
36.5 And just after hitting a wonderful six, he spoons it straight to Babar at backward point, flummoxes him with the slow delivery, Babar got down low to it while leaning to his left and snaffled it well as it was dying on him. Jansen goes after a 20-run cameo. Now that's an important breakthrough because is a pretty dangerous customer but is it a case of too little, too late? Haris has the last laugh in this little battle 235/6
41.1 Strikes first ball! Shaheen gottim with a beauty and the entire Pakistan team cluster together in joy! He flings the bat out and the outside edge is drawn, Rizwan gobbles it up gleefully and Pakistan are right back in this contest. Do not move. Shaheen just found enough seam movement to find the feather edge and ultra edge confirms it, a tentative feeble push at it, should have left it alone 250/8

45.3 Slip in place! Scurries in and bangs it on a good length with a hint of seam movement, he chips it into the air and Haris Rauf takes an absolute blinder in his follow-through. Oh my days, what a catch, how can you do that after steaming in and bowling at 143 clicks and then having the presence of mind to snaffle it from your left hand while swooping to your left with the ball dying down! Unbelievable, that's the stuff of legends! 260/9
