Deepak: "What is the highest ODI score without a century being scored?" --- Sampath: India's 357/8 is the highest team total without an individual century at the men's ODI World Cup. Previous highest was 348/8 by Pakistan vs England in 2019. This is also India's highest ODI total without an individual century, as their previous highest was 351/5 vs WI earlier this year.
Another interesting stat from Sampath: Only the third time in ODIs there have been three individual scores in the 80s and 90s in the same innings. Last was also by India vs Sri Lanka in 2005.
Shreyas Iyer: "I think it was pretty good to bat on, it was easy to rotate the strike at the start and get my eye in. Also Virat bhai and all set the platform very well. After that KL and I came in and played our game. We got a message that the ball was holding on a bit, so we had to bide our time to play our strokes."
6.05pm So Sri Lanka set with a record chase to win here, though with how Kohli and Gill were going midway through the innings Sri Lanka might be quite pleased at limiting it to even this. Dilshan Madushanka picked up his maiden five-for even if it was for a pretty expensive 80 runs, but he struck at crucial points in the game, getting the key wickets of Rohit, Gill, Kohli, SKY and Iyer. It meant that Virat Kohli will have to wait another day for number 49, as he fell for 88, while Gill (88) and Iyer (82) would fall short of centuries as well. It could have been worse for India, but both Gill and Kohli were dropped early. Sri Lanka paid for the errors, and despite pulling things back a touch, India managed 93 off the final 10 overs to get them to an above par score. Sri Lanka have it all to do with the chase, Deiva will be back with that shortly.

Kpaddy: "Madushanka - Is that the costliest five-for ever? " --- Sampath says: Madushanka's 5/80 is the second-most expensive five-wicket haul in ODIs, behind Adil Rashid's 5/85 vs WI in 2019.
