Netherlands have fought their way to 229, with Scott Edwards leading the rescue job after they lost early wickets again. He got a well deserved half-century while Wesley Barresi and Sybrand Engelbrecht also did well. It was the fast bowlers who did the most damage for Bangladesh, with Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam getting powerplay wickets again. They picked two each, while Mustafizur Rahman also picked two. Mahedi Hasan chipped in with a couple of late wickets to help wrap the tail up, despite Logan van Beek helping Netherlands finish the innings with momentum on their side. The Fizz was excellent in the back ten, using his cutters and yorkers with great effect. With dew as a factor and the pitch getting better to bat on under lights, 230 could be on the lower side of a par-score, but this Netherlands side is known for their fight! Taskin Ahmed: "I missed last two games because of my shoulder. Actually it's an old injury that' suddenly flared up. I had a tear on my shoulder it flared. I took 7-8 days rest now I'm happy to be playing again. I think, after few games we took wickets in powerplay. Next few matches this will give us confidence, how we bowled. The wicket was slowing a little, but it's still good. Confident that we'll chase it down."
