Hannah Bracken: "As an NZ fan, very pleased with that total, some great bonus runs at the end there. Weirder things have happened, but I trust our bowling attack to defend on this tacky-looking deck (as long as dew isn't an issue)."
Charlie: "The momentum is firmly with NZ after the last ball. "
Ammar: "how many Words per Minute do you type Rvel?" I don't have a count but I go with the flow and just love describing all the action
Phil: "50 from the last 3 overs - ouch!"
Pawan Mathur: "To be honest, Netherlands bowling has done a decent job in the first two matches by restricting the opposition to 286 and 322 when it was expected that both Pakistan and NZ will easily cross 350, Their batting needs now self-belief to get close to the target and give a tough fight"
Umar: "I think de Leede was going good before 13 runs last ball"
Thasvir: "Is it just me or are the over rates really slow? A 2pm start should mean the 1st innings is done by 5.30pm..."
Pari: "The use of Aryan Dutt as new ball bowler and death bowler is fascinating. His last spell 4-0-29-2 is also ridiculous in the context of game."
5.50pm New Zealand had to work really hard to get past 300. After the first three maiden overs, they started to breathe better as Devon Conway meandered to 32 off 40, and then Will Young stitched a crucial stand with the man-in-form Rachin Ravindra. Thereafter, Daryl Mitchell added 48 at almost a run-a-ball, and the captain made sure they don't fold meekly, scoring a vital half-century towards the end. Don't forget the fiery cameo at the end by Mitchell Santner that has given Black Caps a a respectable total on the board. Can New Zealand defend this or will Netherlands pull off an upset today? We'll find out soon when Himanshu Agrawal returns to bring you the chase. Stay tuned!
