A gargantuan ask for Sri Lanka. Their chase will start soon. Madushka will start calling the action. Stick around.

Let's list some records: This is the third 400+ score at a WC for SA

Markram has the fastest ODI WC hundred

Hammad: "Unless SL wins this, SA will top the table "

Rassie van der Dussen: Perfect day with bat. Swung up front, we worked hard in the middle overs. Was hot. But we had a blueprint in recent times. QDK's play in such times is unbelievable. Was special to watch Miller, Markram too. They found a nice length, into the wicket. Luckily I got through that patch. It's difficult to say if we can get more 400s, we just bat according to conditions, as we did today. Klaasen, Markram, Miller are the best hitters and they showed it today. Game's only halfway done, bowlers will have seen how it's going and will take learnings.

6:13pm That innings was like a fan-fiction written by someone who was compensating for a bad day, surprised it's over. Was hard not to think it'd never end an hour or so ago. Three hundreds: from de Kock, van der Dussen, and then Markram. Rajitha and Pathirana go over 90, Madushanka and Wellalage go over 80. Still hard to make sense of what happened but the bowling didn't seem that bad. But it didn't bring about wickets. QDK and VDD found their groove gradually. The switch flicked around the 23rd over. They took on anything remotely in their zone and made it look like the whole of Delhi was part of their zone. Markram's hitting was the cleanest, set up by the earlier centuries but it was phenomenal to watch him adjust to the many changes Shanaka made with the choices and the bowlers with their deliveries. Miller finished off in style to take them just ten short of the 438 from Johannesburg.

Diyath: "Can we say this was as a result of great batting, a conducive pitch after a while, or bad bowling? Feels the bowling wasn't terrible enough to concede 400 alone" Yep

Rajitha to Jansen, SIX, Makes a lot of room and launches down the ground, oh it's a proper liftoff but far too. Over long-off for the six that brings up the highest World Cup team total, surpassing Australia's 417 against Afghanistan in 2015. Ball was on a length and Jansen looked to have made too much room, but that reach is next level
