West Indies take a 2-0 lead and there are a lot of things to ponder over for Bangladesh. That will be it from us, tonight. Thanks for tuning in and thanks for all your comments. If you missed any of the action, Isam's report has you covered. Till then, this is me Ashish Pant signing off on behalf of Sudeep. Ciao!

Shai Hope, West Indies captain: Definitely concerned [about 149]. When we spoke at the halfway stage, we thought 190 or even 200 was on. But credit to the bowlers, that they gave us that win. [Dropped catches] We always speak about catches win matches and we did ourselves no favour there. Again, credit to the bowlers. We have to look at that [dropped catches] for the next game. [Series win] It is going to uplift the mood. We always talk about coming here and doing well in these conditions. Something to take from this tour. We will want to finish 3-0 and go to NZ on a high.

Romario Shepherd is the player of the match: It was difficult to hit in the backend and it was important to start well with the ball. We knew if we bowled well in the middle, it would be tough at the end. It was a small total so there was no room for errors. Once they get a big stand, the total is not small. [Dropped catches] It is part of the game. We just had to think about the next ball. What is gone is gone. We just wanted to focus on the next ball.

Litton Das, Bangladesh captain: If you see, last two to three series, our bowlers did really well. I am very sorry for all the bowlers because they have done a really good job. If you see 150 is not a big total. Whenever we got stuck, we got out. I have to stay there till 13-14 overs. I have to improve myself, if I was there, the match would have finished earlier. They bowled really well, but their fielding wasn't great. That's great for us but we couldn't achieve the target.

Presentation time

9.42pm That is a special bowling effort from West Indies who have defended 149! Not many at the halfway mark felt that they had enough,. But the West Indies bowlers came out with purpose from the get-go. The fast bowlers restricted the openers in the powerplay with Holder taking out Saif. Litton and Tanzid had a brief stand but once Litton fell, Bangladesh could not inject any momentum into the chase. Tanzid struck 61 off 48 balls but lost partners rather quickly. Towhid Hridoy struck at 85.71, Jaker Ali struck at 94.44 and eventually, Bangladesh could not keep up with the scoring rate. West Indies bowled to a plan and reaped rewards. Romario Shepherd and Akeal Hosein picked up three wickets apiece, while Holder got two. West Indies dropped four catches but still got over the line, showing how well the bowlers stuck to their plans.

Wilton W Thomas: "Great to see West Indies fighting the good fight and winning this game and series. The west Indies need to work on their fielding, too many catches got away., New Zealand will not be easy to beat."

Chris: "I guess you can still win when you drop that many catches."

Antor Rafi: "The situation would be different if Jaker Ali could at least maintain the strike rate that Tanzim Sakib has! Tells a lot!"

Roxy: "Hridoy (12 off 14), Jaker (17 off 18), and Shamim (1 off 2) -- with this middle order, Bangladesh will consistently lose even against non-Test playing nations."

Hosein to Nasum Ahmed, OUT, Chopped on! West Indies win the second T20I and take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Flatter outside off, he looks for an across the line swipe and gets a thick inside-edge back onto the stumps. All smiles in the West Indies camp. They have defended 149 and win the second T20I by 14 runs.
