Rovman Powell: "It's important for me to come out here as the most senior guy in the team and give the guys inspiration. The last few months haven't been good, so I was hoping we get a very good total here. It's not the easiest surface to get started on, but once you get set and the ball comes onto the bat, you can hit it. So it's important for our bowlers to try their best to control the Powerplay. Once we control the Powerplay, we're in the game. I think 165 is a good total if we control the Powerplay. If the Powerplay gets away from us, we'll be 10-15 runs short. I think 175 would have been a very good score on this wicket."
Ed: "I hope Sabbir now sees the collective wisdom of Powell staying until the end. He provided the necessary momentum. Still needed to turn some of those deliveries into runs."
Anton Carvalho : "Did anyone complain about POWERL's strike rate ?" Lost the count, Carvalho.
Ishaan: "Powell has always been somewhat slow against spin. But a beast when it comes to playing pace. He might be better off used in the lower order or top order especially with the upcoming wc being in the subcontinent where most middle overs will be bowled by spinners"
7:40 pm The West Indies started cautiously, almost losing their first wicket in the third over when Rishad Hossain missed a run-out chance. However, Athanaze upped the tempo with three boundaries in the fourth over against Taskin Ahmed, setting the stage for a 59-run opening stand. The breakthrough came when Rishad bowled Athanaze out while playing a reverse sweep. Brandon King struggled to time the ball and was caught out after scoring just 33 runs. Taskin struck back-to-back in the 13th over, removing both King and Rutherford. The runs dried up in the middle overs as Bangladesh bowlers used plenty of slower deliveries, deceiving Rovman Powell, who was visibly struggling with the bat. A costly drop by Tanzim Sakib at short third gave Powell a lifeline. He found his mojo back in the death overs, making his 100th T20I game memorable by smashing four consecutive sixes and finishing with a blistering 44 runs off 28 balls. Shai Hope was equally brilliant at the other end, scoring 46 runs off 28 balls. Mustafizur Rahman and Nasum Ahmed bowled brilliantly but were unlucky not to get wickets. Taskin finished with two wickets, and Rishad got one. We will be back for the run chase after a short break.
Bangladesh need 166 runs to win
Tanzim Sakib to bowl the last over

Eric: "WI can swap Rutherford for a bowler. Romario can b pushed up. Holder, Akeal capable of damaging. "
Rayen: "Romario Sheperd being wasted by Windies. He should be used like Polly/Russell. Play from atleast 14-15th over. No use in playing 1-2 overs. Rovman Powell should have been retired out 2 overs back"

Zia: "While Powel's strike rate says he is batting slow at the moment, he actually seen off difficult overs from Nasum " Still, he is failing to connect the ball cleanly and rotate the strike.
Sabbir: "POwell, the guy should get out or raise his strike rate. whats the point of hanging out there right now"
