2.1 Stupendous stuff from Salman! That is an absolute pearler! You can see that on repeat, even Salman didn't know if it has kissed the bail on off! The crackerjack rises from a shortish length and just brushes the bail after zipping back from off. A pinpoint delivery nipping like a barracuda and cleverly disguised slower one 16/1
16.5 Tossed up on a length and drifts in at middle, pants his front leg and picks out to deep midwicket! Swung away without much timing and got more height than distance. Wasim has got a safe pair of hands, lunged in from the rope and took a nifty catch. Brings an end to a marvelous knock but he would be gutted to lose his wicket at this crucial juncture 153/4
8.1 Over the wicket, gobscamked him with a corker of a delivery on a length and he was playing for the spin, expecting it to spin back but it just straightened and held its line, he gets stuck deep in the crease, trying to work it away and gets pinned in front, no confusion whatsoever and the umpire was quick to raise the dreaded finger. Pakistan get another wicket 82/2
10.4 Harmless delivery, dropped short and given room to pounce on, change of bowling works! He stays back and whacks it straight to Nawaz at short backward-point who reverse cups it. An untimely wicket for Sri Lanka, Perera could have inflicted a lot of damage and he would be admonishing himself for throwing away a good start 96/3

19.6 Good-ish length and outside off, prodded away towards long-on, tries to scamper back for the second and Shanaka was not interested in the second and didn't run from non-striker's end, both batters are at non-striker's end and a sharp throw at keeper's end results in a run-out. A very expensive last over, Wasim, on a rare bad day at the office, conceded 31 in the final over. Shanka is run-out as he just stopped after taking a few steps 184/5

3.4 First breakthrough for Sri Lanka! Bit short and slower through the air, hung away in the channel, goes for an attacking stab and finds Liyanage at short cover who gobbles it up gleefully. Farhan, looks crestfallen, while taking the walk back to the pavillion. Impeccable length and he got caught up in two minds 29/1
4.4 Sounds the death rattle Serious pace 142 clicks on a shortish length on a tight off-stump line, tries to squeeze that out and gets undone by the pace, accuracy and probing line, chops it back onto the stumps and Sri Lanka are right on top! fiery celebration, punches the air in jubilation! 38/3
3.6 Bit short and straightens a touch on middle and leg, deviated in a touch and kept a touch low, he couldn't track the line and get rapped on the pads, Ahsan Raza took his time before adjudicating it out. Early diparture for Babar Azam and there's a pindrop silence in the crowd. Sri Lanka are right back in the powerplay, getting two crucial scalps. Brilliant start from Sri Lanka! 29/2

5.2 Hits a length ball and slanted across off, tries to clobber it across the line and miscues the skier. Shanaka backtracks and reverse cups it over his head at midwicket and Chameera has got the BIG FISH! This is turning out to be a fabulous start for Sri Lanka and Pakistan find themselves in a rut! They need massive rebuilding work and cannot allow the scoring rate to dip significantly. Four wickets have gone down in just 11 balls 43/4
12.2 One big shot too many, got carried away. Beautifully floated up on middle and spun away late, he comes forward and tries to pull it over deep square, doesn't hold himself back and gets a leading edge to Perera at short third but that's the way he bats, backs his instincts, Salman is not impressed at all and the threatening partnership is broken 99/5
18.2 Wide of the crease from around the wicket, bit short from a good length and shapes it in from outside off, takes the bait and larrups it up but lifts it straigh to the man at long-off, very important breakthrough for Sri Lanka. Hasaranga with a neat catch, hangs onto it brilliantly, excellent contribution 169/6
19.5 Another yorker length delivery on middle, slanted in, he miscues it, shoveling down the ground and swallowed by the fielder at long-on, excellent catch from Shanaka and Chameera has held his nerve and nailed his yorkers and slower ones when it mattered the most 178/7
