Scorer: Harshith Gowda | Commentator: Ashish Pant

That's the end of the series, which is tied 1-1. How we wish could there would have been a third Test. There isn't, so we will have to stays content with two. Thanks for tuning in, everyone and thanks for all your comments. Plenty of cricket going on around the world, and you can follow all the action on ESPNcricinfo. Till then, this is me Ashish Pant, signing off on behalf of Abhimanyu and Harshith. Ciao!

Aiden Markram, the South Africa captain: Really good response. After the first Test we were put under pressure and the guys have put their hands up and excelled. We have taken a lot of confidence from this win. Great space to be in as a team. We are still a work in progress in these conditions. But guys have put their hands up at different times. The unit out here is one of the best. In SA you'd think just seamers and some spinners, but we are very good with the spinners as well. I have seen KG bat in the nets, but this was special. It was calculated. He's won us a Test match with the bat. [Lessons] You can take what you can. Plenty of lessons to be learned. We are work in progress and now we head to India.

Shan Masood, the Pakistan captain: On the hindsight, you can always feel you can do things differently. You have to give credit to the opposition, too. They have kept fighting. This Test they have found the right mix. Unfortunately, we didn't finish well in the first innings. It put us in a lot of pressure . The difference in the first innings seeped into the third and fourth innings. [Third innings collapse] We are not shying away, but in these conditions, it will always be a reflection of the first two innings. They played very well. We will have to look back at those chances that we missed out. We are measuring against a team that has won this WTC, so we can't give them chances. [Spinning track] It has been four wins out of six for us. The wickets have got a little better, they are battable now. Four out of six is not bad. There is a lot to work on. The lower batting, finishing innings off, third innings batting. As a side, you are never perfect.

Senuran Muthusamy is the player of the series: Just tried to do my best at every opportunity. This Test meant a lot more because we won the Test. I wanted to get a few good spells and runs and contribute. [Batting] I think growing up in Durban and it is quite spin friendly. I had a chance to practice on those conditions. It was great to implement my spin in conditions where there was help for spinners. Kesh and Harmer bowled well in the first innings. [Partnership with Rabada] Initially, the plan was for me to farm the strike. Then he grew confident and we got some important runs. The partnership with KG was one to remember.

Keshav Maharaj is the player of the match: Just tried to rely on flight. The wicket did not deteriorate much so I just tried to place on the good lines. I had good support from the other players; it was old-fashioned Test cricket. [Plenty of experience] Even someone like Sen, he has played a lot of FC cricket. There is a wealth of knowledge in the change room. It is nice to have that tactical awareness. [Batting] Someone very dear to me ahead of the Test series helped be with the bat. Sen was with me and he helped me a lot. The transition of the team is phenomenal. To defeat a strong Pakistan team is a wonderful feather on our cap. The character shown by the team was awesome.

Do hang around for the presentation, guys.

12.10pm Handshakes and hugs all around in the South African camp. A fist pump from the head coach, Shukri Conrad. Rickelton and de Zorzi hug it out and the visitors have bounced back in some style. South Africa were behind the eight-ball after the first day when they dropped umpteen catches, and let Pakistan off the hook. Then in their first innings, South Africa were 210 for 7 and looking at a huge lead. But some stunning rearguard action from Muthusamy, Maharaj and Rabada flipped the script and flattened Pakistan big time and picked up a 71-run lead. Harmer then picked six wickets in the second innings as Pakistan were rolled over for 138. A target of 68 was never going to be a problem for South Africa. They win the Test match and level the series 1-1.

Sajid Khan to Rickelton, SIX, That's that! South Africa achieve their first Test win on Pakistan soil since 2007. They have managed to turn around the series and have claimed the second Test by eight wickets. Tossed up just outside off, he jumps down the track, reaches the pitch and goes up and over mid-off and all the way. The two-match series ends 1-1.

Kaut: "Huge respect for Muthuswamy's knock yesterday. He didn't go for his own century when Rabada was going hammers and tongs - gave Rabada all the strike and didn't go for glory shot himself despite being so close to his century. That's playing for your team!"
