6.50pm The Pakistan team get into a huddle right as the South African innings ends. It was an innings that began with South Africa looking very strong. Debutant Lhuan-dre Pretorius hit a breezy fifty, while Quinton de Kock marked his return to 50-over cricket with a half-century of his own. Then, Pakistan started to take wickets in regular intervals and despite Breetzke nearly getting another fifty, South Africa manage a score that looks a few runs short. The death overs in particular made for fascinating viewing, with Corbin Bosch looking to hit big while Shaheen and Naseem did well with reverse-swinging yorkers and slower balls. Bosch made a handy 41, which may end up being very crucial runs. How will the chase go? Join Suds in around 20 minutes to find out.
Saim Ayub: "The pitch is behaving slow. It's easier with the new ball for the batters. As the ball started to get older, we were getting assistance and we tried to now bowl in their range. I am enjoying [my bowling]. I try to focus on what the coach says, I don't try too many things on my own. [On the target] I think we could have conceded 10-15 runs but still, we did well I feel. At one point they looked set for 300-plus but credit to the bowlers and fielders."
