3.3 One slip in place. Nasum wins the battle, foxes him with the snail-speed delivery and he was early through the shot down the ground, attempting to heave to leg but no connection means he has to go. Ball clattered the middle and Nasum likes it, celebrates with arms aloft. Bangladesh get the early strike 25/1
4.4 Around the wicket, that's a snorter of a short ball that leapt at him alarmingly and he didn't have much time to react, made a mess of it and knew as soon as he hit that he wasn in trouble, ball takes the top-edge and Emon gobbles it up in the slip cordon, lined under it just in the nick of time. Bangladesh have got a terrific start 31/2
14.5 Flummoxed by the slower one, top-spinner on a shorter length around sixth stump line, skewed it off the leading edge towards cover-point and it's a massive breakthrough. Gurbaz would have dearly liked to continue and inflict damage in the slog overs, not to be, has to take the long walk back to the pavilion. 95/6
5.2 Short again and arching on off-stump, driven down towards mid-off and this is one of the biggest botch-up I've seen! Big communication breakdown as Gurbaz tries to pinch a run and Rasooli just gets stuck at the non-striker's end, not ready to accept the call, he sacrifices his wicket and it's going from bad to worse as Afghanistan woes continue. 31/3
6.4 Lots of flight and fuller on fifth stump line, goes down on one knee and plays a slog sweep across the line, not much power behind it and finds the man at deep square to perfection. Needless to say the least, took the aerial route but didn't account for the field placements, not so imaginative and Afghanistan keep losing wickets at regular intervals. They need a massive partnership and a major rebuilding work now 40/4
11.1 over the wicket, tossed up fuller on off, down on one knee and holes out to long-on! Got lured by the flight and took the bait, Tanzim lunges in and takes a regulation catch! That has been the prevailing theme of the innings; no partnership of note so far. Many soft dismissals and Afghanistan don't have a strong launchpad to spring from 73/5
17.5 Hits the pitch on a good length and offers little bit of room, takes the pace off, and he doesn't need second invitation, mows it downtown and has got plenty of elevation, Rishad at long-on hangs onto it brilliantly as Nabi grimmaces. Taskin with a lovely knuckle-ball. Rashid to come in next, good time for him to whack a few out of the park 127/7

18.2 Slower on a little shortish length and slanted across off, he is tempted to cut and ends up edging it to the keeper. Ali with a fabulous diving catch to the right, pockets it low and removes the danger man! 132/8
19.6 Pace off and short well wide of off, tugs it across the line to deep midwicket and tries to snake another run, both batters greeting each other at non-striker's and it's the second run-out of the innings. Afghanistan have done well in the last 5 overs or so to resurrect the innings and get a fighting total. 151/9

12.6 Rashid, the magician, inducing panic in Bangladesh ranks! Bowls a heck of a legbreak and he gingerly pokes at it, gets a faint edge to the keeper. Don't go anywhere, things getting a little heated up here! Rashid has bowled magnificently in this over 111/3
11.4 Pitched up and nips in at middle, looks pretty adjacent and the lbw appeal is relentless. Given by the umpire and Emon wants another look. Jagged in a bit towards middle, nothing on the ultra-edge. Ball tracking loading. Pitching outside off, impact in line and hitting leg-stump, on-field decision stands 109/1
12.2 Floats up a cracking googly and thumps him on the pads, squealing for an lbw and not given, sent upstairs for further examination. Was fuller and before the bat came down, ball went onto rap the front pad. Looks very close. Ultraedge shows no deflection as the ball passes the bat. Time for ball tracking Pitching outside off, impact in line and hitting middle and leg-stumpp so the decision will be overturned. Slight twist in the tale, Bangladesh have to be careful 110/2
14.2 Vociferous appeal for an lbw and it looks stone dead! Good length and wicket-to-wicket, gets on front foot and was loading up for big full-blooded sweep, doesn't connect. Pitching outside off hitting wickets, hitting off-stump and therefore three reds on the big screen, on-field stands 116/4
14.4 around the wicket, that looks pinned in front, good length and straightening down the line middle, adjudged lbw by the on-field, not much going in his favor, pitching outside off, impact in line and could have gone onto crash the middle and leg stump! Oh, this is turning out to be a riveting affair. Ball thunders into the front pad, he just gets stuck deep in the crease and got beaten by the vicious turn 117/5

15.4 Thumping his pads and, to me, it looked like it pitched outside leg but there are no reviews left for Bangladesh and so he has to go! Hits him in front of the stumps, was looking to sweep. Tanzim wanted to review but none left. The game has changed so quickly, you give Afghanistan spinners a sniff and they seize on the opportunity. 118/6
