Bangladesh leads the series by 1-0, a brilliant clinical performance from the home team in front of an almost full stadium. For Pakistan, there will be a lot to think about and worry about, and they will be looking to bounce back before the next match. And with that, this concludes our action for today. Thank you for tuning in. This is Rashad Mahbub signing off on behalf of Harshith Gowda and the entire ESPNcricinfo staff. Goodbye and goodnight!

Litton Das: "We definitely know about the wicket because we played lots of cricket in Mirpur. It's not an easy wicket to bat on, but the way we batted, it looks good. In the second innings, the ball came nicely because of the dew, probably. We bowl really well. We take early wickets. And that's the key point. [Dropping catches] I mean, this is part of cricket--someday, you will catch an extraordinary ball, and someday, you will drop it. And the good player also drops catches sometimes. So the thing is, whenever, whoever comes to the ball, they deliver their 100 percent. And we all know how Fizz executed in Mirpur, and he was a threat to the batsman. So, Sakib bowled really well in the middle. Taskin also bowled really well in the death overs. Overall, the bowling and fielding department did a great job. That's a good sign. I mean, if you saw the last couple of T20 games, we batted like one to four batsmen. Give some extra runs, like 50-60; they batted long. So it's a good point. good things for our team. And I know Hridoy is more experienced at the moment; he batted in one area a long time, and he knows and understands cricket now very well. Emon batted really well."

Player of the Match, Parvez Hossain Emon: "Obviously happy because of our team's win. So that's why I'm happy. [Pressure to rebuild the innings] Not like that; we just stay in the positive and look for singles. When I hit sixes, I enjoyed it."

Salman Ali Agha: "[Runs]⁣ It wasn't enough on board. We have started well, but we keep losing wickets at regular period. And we will obviously sit down and talk about it, and next game we will have to be better. [Pitch] Whenever you come to Bangladesh, you expect this kind of pitch, like in Bangladesh. You hardly get an improved wicket. So we were expecting this, but we were obviously not up to the mark. And you can say that we have to rotate the strike bit more. We will sit down and talk about it. [Bowlers] I think they bowled well, because when you are defending 111 and you don't have much time, you don't have a margin of error, but I think they bowled well, and it's just the batting we need to bat well in the next game."

9:28 pm It should've been an easy win for Bangladesh, but they made it tough for themselves right from the start. Chasing just 111 runs, they lost their opening batter, Tanzid Hasan Tamim, in the very first over. Salman Mirza then struck again in his next over, forcing Litton to nick a ball to the fielder in the slips. But Hridoy and Parvez relieved some of the pressure by striking a few massive sixes early on. They both began to cautiously rebuild the innings, playing per the pitch's nature. Hridoy was lucky twice: first, Abrar dropped him near the boundary at deep third, and then Mohammad Haris dropped him again in the ninth over. Hridoy ultimately was out after scoring 36 runs off 37 balls. Parvez, on the other hand, stayed till the end at the crease, finishing unbeaten on 56 runs from 39 balls. Pakistan's fielding was also subpar, as they dropped a few simple catches. Defending a mere target of 111 runs was always difficult for the visiting side. Except for Salman Mirza, the debutant, none of them looked impressive today from the bowling unit. Salman took two wickets for Pakistan, while Abbas collected the only other one. The post-match presentation is coming shortly!

Mazhar : "Winning with 27 balls and 7 wickets in hand, Bangladesh proved that there was no demon in this wicket. Pakistan batters just played bad"

Vensee: "@Rashad... total how many drops in the innings? " As far as I can recall, three drops.

Bangladesh won by 7 wickets
