7:52 pm Bangladesh had a tough start with the bat! Their opening batter, Naim Sheikh, got out in the second over trying a fancy shot, playing the lap scoop and gloving it to the keeper. Then, Litton Das gave his wicket away cheaply, and Towhid Hridoy was run out by a great throw from Pakistan's captain while trying for a quick run. And Emon chipped his wicket to mid-on. This meant Bangladesh lost four wickets in the Powerplay, much like Pakistan did in the first match. Mahedi and Jaker then started to rebuild the innings. Mahedi scored a quick 33 runs, and Jaker Ali played a brilliant innings of 55 runs. They managed to get Bangladesh to a decent total of over 130 runs, though it feels like they might be 10-15 runs short on this pitch. Pakistan's bowlers changed their tactics a bit this time, bowling slower, and it paid off. Salman, Daniyal, and Abbas each took two wickets. Stay tuned, Danyal Rasool will be back with more commentary after a short break!
Zed: "That Drop catch by Khushdil added 20 runs to the total"
Sabyasachi Mitr: "Despite hitting 4 sixes, Jaker has scored just above a run a ball." His strike rotation was terrible today, but he did his job with the bat.
