12pm Kavem Hodge stays unbeaten on his Test best 123, having helped West Indies get to 420. But his batting with the tail will come under some questioning, having taken little to no effort to protect Jayden Seales and Kemar Roach. Seales more than held his own in a 69-ball stand, but was done in by a very good ball from Ajaz Patel before Michael Rae finished things off. The day, of course, started with Jacob Duffy prising out Anderson Phillip and Shai Hope in his first two overs with some good short bowling. Well, New Zealand's innings will just begin shortly. Al will be back to see how they go against West Indies' quicks.

awad: "That was a 69-ball partnership, and during that Hodge only played 16 deliveries. Usually it's the other way around."
