And on that note it's a wrap from us. Sri Lanka took the Test and ODI series, but Bangladesh stormed back in the T20Is, and they end the tour on a well-earned high. Lots of positives for both sides to take with the World Cup not far away, but also plenty to build on and think about. For now though, on behalf of the rest of the team, this is Madushka signing out!
Player of the Series is Litton Das for his 114 runs: "The way our team played, I'm very happy. The boys showed their character, especially after how badly we played the T20. If we won the toss I would have batted first, because we have a good bowling attack. I feel this is a big achievement for Bangladesh, but this win will boost our cricket and the new generation. We have big dreams and this helps us. [Mahedi decision?] I believed that this surface suited Mahedi, so that's why he played. It's not that Mehidy Miraz was a bad player, but it was about the surface."
Charith Asalanka: [Toss decision?] My thinking to bat first, get a good score and defend, because we like to defend - especially at the R. Premadasa stadium. But I also think that I misread the pitch. We could have done a little better in the first half. Taken more responsibility in the middle with the bat. It's the shortest format of the game, and the hardest one for the batters. [combination?] At the moment this is the best combination, we trust them, and we need to take this in a good way because we now know how much improvement we need before the World Cup. [disappointed?] Definitely a huge disappointment, but this is sport and it can happen to every time. Important to look at the comeback."
Player of the Match goes to Mahedi Hasan for his match-winning figures of 4 for 11: "Last few ODIs here we saw the ball was spinning, so I was just trying to get good lines and lengths. New ball also spun a bit, just wanted to put it in good areas."
Time now for the post-match presentation...
Looking back on this tour, Bangladesh will be happy with how their batch of youngsters have performed following the retirement of some major stalwarts. They seem to have a great batch of young talent to take them forward. Sri Lanka, meanwhile, are further along in their progress and will want more consistent performances from a team that on their day is a match for any side. Victories in the Test and ODI series were hard fought, but after a dominant first T20I win, Sri Lanka were regularly second best to a spirited young Bangladesh outfit.
Diganta Bahar: "I love Lankan spectators, whatever the match situation is, they don't stop playing the instruments. "
10.05pm What an exemplary chase that was from Bangladesh. In conditions Sri Lanka made seem unplayable, Bangladesh sauntered. Much of that was thanks to the outstanding Tanzid Hasan, who remained unbeaten on a 47-ball 73. He was part of two key partnerships, 74 and 59, with Litton and Hridoy - crucial after they lost Emon first ball of the chase. It meant that by the time Sri Lanka's spinners came into the attack after the powerplay, he was well placed to take them on - and how. Six 6s - double that of the entire Lankan innings - came off Tanzid's bat alone. But he was only working off the platform the returning Mahedi Hasan had set earlier, when he's 4 for 11 had ripped through the spine of the Lankan batting. Dasun Shanaka's final over onslaught gave Sri Lanka some hope, but Bangladesh's measured chase meant Sri Lanka were never really even in with a sniff.
