Kamindu fell for 87, and that sounded the death knell really for the Lankan innings. But some timely hitting from 10 and 11, Asitha and Prabath, ensured that the deficit was minimal. And they'll have the ball in hand in no time to make their mark. We'll be back shortly for Bangladesh's second innings.

1.21pm So Bangladesh made short work after the lunch break to pick up the final four Sri Lankan wickets, but there's nothing between the two teams - just 10 runs in fact - and we're all set for a virtual second innings shootout. Sri Lanka will be disappointed at not getting the lead they were eyeing, but their spinners will be very much looking forward to bowling on a deteriorating surface that saw Nayeem pick up his fourth Test five-wicket haul.
