Scorer: K Vairavan | Commentator: ekanth

A nice game to finish a short series. Big improvements from WI, hope they continue their recovery nicely. India's bustling schedule continues with a tour to Australia, under new ODI captain, Shubman Gill. Some T20Is too, see you for that. Thanks for joining in from me, Ekanth, my co-commentators - Abhimanyu Bose, Himanshu Agrawal, Ashish Pant - and our scorers - Ranjith P, Chandan Duorah, Sudeep Poojari, K Vairavan. See you.

Shubman Gill collects the trophy from Rajeev Shukla. Then he walks to the team-mates, where his team-mates are ready. Hands the trophy to N Jagadeesan and Reddy. They lift it up and cheer, laughter all around. The staff join in.

Shubman Gill, India captain Captaincy a big honour, getting used to it, managing players, all of it. It's about taking the right options based on game situations and I try to make the one with the best probabilities. We were around 300 ahead, the wickets were dead. That's why the follow-on. We played NKR because we need seam-bowling allrounders overseas. I've batted since I was 3-4, I want to make decisions as a batter not captain while batting. You learn from a young age how to help the team win.

Ravindra Jadeja, POTS I could get a chance to bowl overs with Ashwin not around. We've been wonderful across departments, great signs for this team in the last six months. Think I'm batting at my best, Gautam Gambhir has given me the No. 6 spot. My mindset a spot or two down was different. Now I just try to bat as long as possible. I don't think too much about records, just want to contribute to the team. I think this is my third POTS trophy, happy to get it back home.

Kuldeep Yadav, POTM This was a totally different wicket to the first Test. Bowling lots of overs was the challenge, enjoyed it. Didn't get drift here, wicket was too dry. Playing back to back is always fun. When you put a lot of revs and generate arm speed, you get a lot of drift. Love to get batters bowled. Will watch some football, hardly have time before the next series. Lovely to have Jadeja around, has always guided me in tough situations.

Roston Chase, WI captain Positives: Two guys getting hundreds. We batted 100 overs, first time in a long time. And taking the game to the fifth day. We were trying to find ways to bat 80 overs, came up with ideas to play spin - using feet, sweeping, to get there. We have some of the best players, we have to use experience from here as a stepping stone and do well going forward.

krishna kumar: "are we going to have presentation ceremony and trophy atleast for this series or will WI deny hand shake.?" I'd say well played but have no idea what you're talking about

Pierre having a word with Jadeja, who's ripping his fingers demonstrating something. Morke has a chat with Layne, Seales and a couple of others.

Vishal: "rooting for WI to win over NZ or draws. That will be some schadenfreude for us Indian fans."

RaviP: "Despite the result, WI can held their heads high. They are returning back home a better test side." Yeah, should be fun in NZ. Three Tests. Hopefully with the full pace attack fit and firing

Sai Sudharsan Feels great. After giving a fight in England, winning here makes me happy. Learned a lot in five games, hope to give more to the team. (FSL catch) I was clear he won't sweep because he wouldn't sweep. I was brave to stay low and got lucky. I understood more about the role and responsibilities here. Gil gives beliefs to the players, I've played a lot under him as captain. Look forward to do more under him.

Ravi: "There are two Kuldeeps in the team now :)"

Bharani: "MOTS should be Jadeja for his all round efforts. OH wait! Kuldeep for the majority of wickets?" We'll find out soon.

Chandran: "How England with 2 Wins, 2 Loss and 1 Draw, is still have 26 Points instead of 28" Two points lost as an over-rate penalty

Percy: "POTM...Jaiswal without a doubt "

Robbie : "POTM Kuldeep for his 8 wickets on this pitch for me"

10:31am, Day 5, End of match Big smile on Gill's face in the balcony. Hugs between players, among team-mates and opposition. Bumrah and Siraj tugging about. Jaiswal wearing Kuldeep's shirt, as is Kuldeep. Nice quaint scenes. The game was nearly done yesterday. Rahul and Sudharsan took their time before going for the odd big shot. The latter fell to a great catch at slip. Gill's cameo pushed India closer. Rahul cleared things up with six fours, two sixes and a red-inker.
