10.05pm With that, Harmanpreet trots over to claim the series trophy and pose with her team. A famous series win from a formidable unit. They've come to England's conditions and muscled them off the ball, with three hefty wins, and two very tight losses. England will be all the better for the struggle to stay in touch, and this win is far more significant than a bog-standard dead-rubber. But for now, the glory belongs to Harmanpreet and her girls! From Miller, Ashish, Vairavan and the team, thanks for joining us, see you next time!

9.53pm Time for some presentations. The Player of the Summer, as England's T20I leg ends, is Nat Sciver-Brunt, for 171 runs at 42.75, with seven catches and a run-out.

The Player of the Match, however, is Charlie Dean for a vital spell of 3 for 23.

"We took two early wickets but the India girls batted really well. We had to bowl tight lines, kept things simple today, so happy with that. Harmanpreet is a class player and her match-up to offspin is pretty expensive. Happy to get her out. Depends on the pitches, but [three spinners] can definitely play together. It was never in doubt... the girls were cool as cucumbers!"

The Player of the Series is Shree Charani, for her ten wickets in a debut series. "I bowled to my strengths," she says. A player of few words but big impact!

Tammy Beaumont: "Been a difficult series but full credit to India, power in their batting line-up and sometimes we haven't had the answers. Great to get a win tonight. It's been about staying calm in those moments, Verma was an outstanding innings. We'll reflect on where we bowled, was it the plan. But Charlie Dean was excellent and we showed our character. A lot said about fielding and athleticism. Working hard behind the scenes but might take a while to have a perfect game. Sophia and Danni outstanding to get us ahead of the run-chase. Tight at the end, but got over the line. Loved the captaincy, but Nat can come back and I can sleep better."

Harmanpreet Kaur: "Today's match very close, they played good cricket. Whenever Smriti and Shafali are batting we enjoy watching it. We have one month before a major event back home. It is all about training. The camps we had before coming here helped us. We always look for six bowling options. Wherever we go we always get great support from India fans." She's also looking forward to the ODIs.

9.43pm Goodness me... I was fairly sure I was about to ball-by-ball my first-ever Super Over, but that honour eludes me once more, as England cling on in desperate scenes! The series is gone already, but in terms of the rebuilding of this team under head coach Charlotte Edwards, that was exactly the challenge they need ahead of the World Cup this winter.

Hypocaust: "Fun fact - there have been 138 women's T20Is played in England, the second most in any nation, and none of them have ended as ties." Well there we go... no wonder Super Overs are so elusive!

Dinu: "Almost a second tie of the day" Indeed. Scenes at Lord's earlier...

1
Reddy to Ecclestone, 1 run, tap and go, a free shy at the non-striker's end... misses! Ecclestone was dead if that hit... but the ball skimmed past the stumps as Mandhana's under-arm from mid-on went just wide! England cling on in the highest run-chase at Edgbaston!

Well now... everyone comes up, a smothering ring of fielders... she'll be firing it into the blockhole no doubt...

1
Reddy to Scholfield, 1 run, drilled on the front foot, into the off-side, Harmanpreet pounces well and scores are tied!
19.4
3
Reddy to Ecclestone, 3 runs, Inside-out, hacked away through backward point! Priceless scampering as India's fielders have to track back to the rope! Ecclestone puts her head down and sprints the third

Saps: "Radha, you beauty! Gave us the 1st breakthrough and now this!!"

W
Reddy to Jones, OUT, unbelievable take in the deep! Radha at deep midwicket, flings herself headlong as Jones swings for the hills across the full length. It's an utter sprawler of a grab, horizontal to the ground as she held on a foot off the turf. And managed to keep control as her elbows crashed to earth! Massive wicket! England are in peril now!

1
Reddy to Scholfield, 1 run, pace off again, dipping on a yorker length, tapped to point and that's sloppy from India, they should have been more alert to that run

W
Reddy to Beaumont, OUT, pace off, bowled! Beaumont was utterly suckered by that one! The ball looped out as if it was a chest-high freebie, but it dipped with Beaumont committed to the swing across the line, and pegged back her middle stump! A fine knock from the skipper but she's left work to be done!
