8pm A stop-start innings, where the highest score was 22 (by Dunkley). A lot of the batters seemed to get starts, but none of them got into any sort of rhythm, often falling when trying to up the ante. Ecclestone and Wong, though, did get a couple away towards the end that has pushed the hosts up to 126, which is not a huge total, but does give them something to bowl at.

India will be pretty happy with where they are at, even if the 20th went for 16. Radha was the pick of their bowlers, bagging two and keeping things very tight. Charani bagged another two-wicket haul, with Amanjot and Deepti also among the wickets. India will fancy their chances of chasing down this total. However, they will be aware that this is not the easiest of tracks to get going on. Join us in a bit for the chase!

Sikhar Patranab: "Hi Shashwat. What would be a par score on this pitch? Have India done exceptionally well to restrict England? Or does it look like a difficult pitch?" -- It is a little two-paced, and stroke-making does not look as easy. That said, England would have wanted a few more on the board - perhaps something in the 140-150 range.

Sharma to Wong, SIX, Wong wants a piece of the final-over six-hitting fun too, and England finish with a bit of a flourish! This is also an attempt to follow the batter, but the length is the problem. It is dragged down and Wong has all the time in the world to whack it over cow corner!

1
Sharma to Ecclestone, 1 run, safe! Back of a length well outside leg, and that seems to be a riposte to Ecclestone shaping for the reverse-sweep. Not sure why she went for that option and she scuffs it in ungainly fashion into the off side

Sharma to Ecclestone, SIX, goes a mile up, and lands beyond the fence! Deepti tries to follow Ecclestone outside leg but bowls a slot ball. Ecclestone picks it up and mooses it over the deep mid wicket fence!

1
Sharma to Wong, 1 run, back of a length on middle and leg. Wong skips down the track and tugs it towards deep mid wicket
19.2
1
Sharma to Ecclestone, 1 run, on the bounce! In the slot on leg stump. Ecclestone gets down low and swipes it away towards deep backward square leg. Not enough power to clear the fence, though

1
Sharma to Wong, 1 run, shortish and spinning into the batter, finishing just outside leg. Wong gives herself room and chops it towards cover point for a single

Deepti to bowl. Can England get to 120?

AB Kaur to Ecclestone, FOUR, four to finish off, and that is a much-needed boundary! Amanjot misses the leg-stump yorker and dishes out a half-volley. Ecclestone, sitting deep in her crease, snaps her wrists into action and shovels it between deep backward square leg and deep mid wicket!

Just a solitary run off the over so far

AB Kaur to Ecclestone, no run, banged into the track on middle and leg, and this comes off very slow. Ecclestone is a business week early into her swipe and gets tagged in the midriff

Ecclestone has a reputation of wielding the long handle. England could do with some boundaries here

18.4
1
AB Kaur to Wong, 1 run, low full toss down leg. Wong gets some bat on it and glances it towards deep backward square leg. Just another single, though

England's running between the wickets has left a fair bit to be desired so far...

AB Kaur to Wong, no run, on a length wide outside off. Wong throws her hands at it and flays it towards cover, who gets a hand to it. Wong wanted the single but Ecclestone said no

AB Kaur to Wong, no run, dug into the track outside off. Wong jabs it towards extra cover and after a bit of hesitation, decides against the run

AB Kaur to Wong, no run, slanted in on a length on the pads. Wong gets caught on the crease and then gets done in for pace. Late on the flick and the ball pings into her pads

Amanjot to bowl the 19th

1
Shree Charani to Ecclestone, 1 run, back of a length outside off. The ball sticks in the surface and spins away. Ecclestone plonks it towards cover and hesitates, as does her partner. There is a misfield, though, and that allows the single eventually

Wong joins Ecclestone. The latter on strike for now, however. Charani to bowl out. Around the wicket

Yadav to Dean, OUT, oh dear - that is a terrible mix-up, and Dean has to trudge off! This is speared in full on middle stump. Dean connects with the reverse-sweep this time and hits it straight to short third. She then follows it up with the unilateral decision of setting off for the single, and watches in horror as Ecclestone is unmoved at the other end. Dean gets sent back but by then, it is too late. The throw is accurate enough, and Ghosh is sharp enough with her glovework. England lose another!

Yadav to Dean, no run, another big lbw shout, not given! India take it upstairs! Darted in very full, in and around off stump. Dean looks for the reverse but the ball is too full to be playing that stroke. The ball seems to strike her on the back leg (which is bent), but the question is did the ball graze the glove on the way, and if the impact was in line. UltraEdge comes up and reckons the ball has brushed the right glove. Dean survives!

Yadav to Ecclestone, 1 run, full just outside off. Ecclestone comes forward and pushes it towards long on. Ecclestone wanted the second but Dean said no. Could have chanced it, given Reddy also misfielded
